Karsējamā tabaka ir vēl jauns un ne līdz galam izpētīts smēķēšanas veids, tādēļ šī darba mērķis bija noskaidrot karsējamās tabakas ietekmi un sirds un asinsvadu sistēmas veselības marķieriem, tuvāk aplūkojot sistēmiskā asinsspiediena rādītājus, kā arī veicot kopējās miega artērijas morfoloģiskos un funkcionālos izmeklējumus. Pētījumā piedalījās 15 sievietes vecuma grupā no 19-25, no tām 8 dalībnieces bija karsējamās tabakas lietotājas ikdienā, bet 7 dalībnieces iepriekš nav lietojušas nikotīnu saturošus produktus. The steroidal module of the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) aims to detect doping with endogenous steroids, e.g. testosterone (T), by longitudinally monitoring several biomarkers. These biomarkers are ratios combined of urinary concentrations of testosterone and metabolically related steroids. Come abiteremo domani è la domanda posta nell'ambito del workshop "Futura", che si è svolto a Palermo nel marzo 2005. Attraverso il progetto di architettura vengono indagati alcuni aspetti della questione dell’abitare, sullo sfondo delle trasformazioni e dei problemi del nostro tempo. Lai arī cēloņsakarības vērtēšanai Latvijas deliktu tiesībās tiek izmantots sine qua non tests, attiecīgais tests ir nepilnīgs, jo tas nesniedz taisnīgu un loģisku risinājumu lietās, kur kaitējumu ir izraisījuši vairāki cēloņi. Objective The aim of this study was to investigate physiotherapists’ validating and invalidating communication, before and after brief Cognitive Functional Therapy (CFT) training that included a session on validation skills. Associations between validation/invalidation and the characteristics of the interviews and physiotherapists were also explored. Methods Eighteen physiotherapists treating patients with low back pain participated in the study.
