The article presents a textbook series EEverything Is Easy!" for teaching Russian to Polish students at junior high school, showing its structure and methodological foundation. The fi rst textbook in the series was published in 2014, shortly before the introduction of a law which introduced a ban on placing exercises that required writing answers in the textbook. The law resulted in the conceptual change of the series.

Abstract The paper examines the introduction of civic education in post-communist Romania as an educational means of civilising in a democratic ethos the children of the transition. Particularly close analytical attention is paid to a) the political context that shaped the decision to introduce civic education, b) the radical changes in both content and end purpose of civics brought about by educational policies adopted for accelerating the country’s efforts of integrating into the Euro-Atlantic structures (NATO and the European Union), and c) the actual consequences that these educational policies betting on civics have had on the civic values expressed by Romanian teenagers. Kieliopin opettaminen on alusta alkaen ollut keskeinen osa nykyaikaista vieraiden kielten opetusta. Mielipiteitä siitä, kuinka kielioppi määritellään, kuinka sitä tulee opettaa ja onko sen opettaminen ylipäätään tarpeen, on esitetty lukemattomia. Tässä tutkielmassa on omaksuttu Thornburyn (1991:1) määritelmä kieliopista tietyn kielen erilaisten mahdollisten rakenteiden ja muotojen tutkimuksena. The recent decision to convert the Benedictine Dormitory in Monreale into an exhibition site offers the opportunity to enjoy the whole monumental complex where the wonderful cloister is the core attraction. It is on this site that the Norman Cathedral stands, brightly decorated with golden mosaics. The new exhibition has gathered together the artworks from the ruined abbey of Santa Maria del Bosco in Calatamauro and added them to the artefacts already exhibited at the Diocesan Museum.
