Leadership and church identity

This article discusses how the theological-spiritual dimension, which has to do with the specific identity of the church, has implications for and partly determines the application of leadership theories and tools in the local church. The article also examines how leadership research can provide the means to realize a church’s theological or spiritual identity or its true nature. This implies a two-directional relationship between theology and leadership. On the one hand, theology should influence how churches are led, and on the other hand, leadership may facilitate the realization of the theological-spiritual dimension.

The study examined the role of religion in a family setting by evaluating relationships between religious attitudes and quality of life among parents and their adolescent children. Previous research suggested that religious beliefs and behavior play an important role in shaping family relations and their members’ well-being. The group of 465 parents and adolescents completed four scales measuring religiousness, quality of life, and satisfaction with life. Results using correlational analyses and cluster comparisons showed that religiousness had a significant effect on both subjective quality of life dimensions and satisfaction with life among parents and adolescents. The purpose of this article is to analyze the masculinity of the biblical figure Moses in relation to the golden calf in Exodus 32. The prophet has been used as a model of biblical masculinity based on criteria such as violence, persuasive ability, his relationship to women, and physical disability. However, no gender construction derived from his interaction with the animal idol has been considered. Los avances tecnológicos que hicieron su tímida aparición durante las últimas décadas del siglo XX y que continúan perfeccionándose a lo largo de este siglo XXI, han venido acompañados de un nuevo corpus teórico y de una nueva forma de ver la profesión docente. Conceptos como sociedad de la información y del conocimiento, economía del conocimiento y capital intelectual, han entrado a formar parte de la investigación educativa y, por tanto, de la práctica profesional. En este sentido, la educación musical ha presenciado cambios en la forma de entender su proceso de enseñanza/aprendizaje para adaptarse a la Sociedad del Conocimiento.
