As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic people have endured potentially stressful challenges which have influenced behaviors such as eating. This pilot study examined the effectiveness of two brief interventions aimed to help individuals deal with food cravings and associated emotional experiences. Participants were 165 individuals residing in United Kingdom, Finland, Philippines, Spain, Italy, Brazil, North America, South Korea, and China. Abstract Rationale The reasoned action approach (RAA) is a social cognitive model that outlines the determinants of intentional behavior. Primary and meta-analytic studies support RAA predictions for multiple health behaviors. However, including past behavior as a predictor in the RAA may attenuate model effects. Direct effects of past behavior on behavior may reflect non-conscious processes whereas indirect effects of past behavior through social cognitive variables may represent reasoned processes. Moral Conflicts as a Motor of Moral Identity Development at Work: Self-Awareness and Micro Processes in Weekly Experiences

Based on the identity process model, we investigated developmental differences in moral identity between leaders by analyzing their personal experiences of and reactions to actual moral conflicts at work. Using a longitudinal (16-week) qualitative design, we collected weekly moral conflict stories from ten leaders. First, after an inductive exploratory analysis we found that the leaders showed different levels of awareness (descriptive, reflective, and evaluative) with regard to how far they were able to identify their own role, values, feelings, and behaviors in each moral conflict. Tämän tutkielman tavoitteena oli selvittää mikä motivoi työntekijöitä noudattamaan tai jättämään noudattamatta hyviä tietoturvakäytänteitä. Tavoitteena oli olemassaolevaan kirjallisuuteen pohjustaen, nostaa esiin teemoja liittyen tietoturvakäyttäytymiseen ja löytää selittäviä tekijöitä sekä hyvälle, että huonolle käyttäytymiselle. Tutkimuksen empiirinen osuus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena, jossa hyödynnettiin teemahaastatteluja. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kehitellä ja toteuttaa englannin ääntämisen opet-tamisen opetuskokeilu peruskoulun kolmannen luokan oppilaille. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, kuinka oppilaat kokivat heidän ääntämistaitonsa ennen opetuskokeilua, minkälaisella toiminnalla ääntämisen oppimisen tietoisia prosesseja voi lisätä sekä millä tavoin lyhytaikainen opetuskokeilu vaikuttaa oppilaiden ääntämistietoisuuteen ja -taitoihin. Myös yksilöllisen ääntämisen kehittymisen tutkiminen tämän opetuskokeilun aikana oli yksi tutkimuksen tavoitteista. Annamari Murtorinne tutki väitöskirjassaan peruskoulun yhdeksäsluokkalaisten kirjoittamis-, keskustelu- ja muokkausprosessia. Murtorinne havaitsi, että oppilaat työskentelevät erittäin mielellään pienryhmissä ja ymmärtävät ryhmänsä arvon palautteenantajana, mutta heillä ei ole vielä riittävästi tietoa ja taitoa hyödyntää monipolvista prosessia parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla.– Oppilaat pitäytyivät palautekeskustelussaan pääasiassa tekstin sisällön pohdinnassa, mutta kiinnittivät huomionsa jonkin verran myös oikeakielisyysseikkoihin.
