Akateemisen varhaiskasvatuksen muotoutuminen

Tässä tutkimuksessa rajaudutaan tarkastelemaan varhaiskasvatusta tieteenalan perspektiivistä. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan akateemisen kentän muotoutumista ja varhaiskasvatuksen sisällöllistä määrittymistä. Aineistona ovat Suomen varhaiskasvatuksen professoreiden virantäyttöprosesseissa tuotetut dokumentit. Tutkimuksemme painottuu erityisesti akateemisen kentän keskeisten toimijoiden - asiantuntijoiden ja viranhakijoiden - identifioimiseen. Työmme kohdentuu lähihistoriaan ja sitä voidaan luonnehtia akateemisen varhaiskasvatuksen kentän historiaa ja muotoutumista koskevaksi perustutkimukseksi. FL Toni Ruohonen on tutkinut väitöskirjassaan monia suomalaisia koskettavaa ongelmaa: terveydenhuollon päivystysjärjestelmän tehottomuutta. Tietokonesimulointia apuna käyttäen Ruohonen kehitti päivystyspoliklinikan uuden toimintamallin, jolla päivystykseen tulevan potilaan hoitoprosessia voidaan nopeuttaa jopa 40 %. – Terveydenhuollon yksiköt ovat hyvin monimutkaisia kokonaisuuksia, ja niillä on paljon satunnaisia piirteitä. An adaptive packet scheduling method is presented in this paper. The adaptive weights of a scheduler are chosen based on maximizing the revenue of the network service provider. The pricing scenario is based on the delay that a connection will inflict to other connections. This study focuses on the development of L2 prosody and, in particular, whether different aspects can affect each other. Finnish-speaking learners of Swedish took part in a pronunciation and oral skills course and were recorded for various speaking tasks before and after the experimental intervention. Read-aloud declarative sentences (statements) from nine learners were acoustically analysed for several tonal and temporal aspects, focusing on the marking of primary stress. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan maahanmuuton kielikysymyksiä Unkarista Suomeen ja Ruotsiin työllistyneiden terveydenhuollon ammattilaisten näkökulmasta. Neksusanalyyttisessä viitekehyksessä tutkitaan sitä investointia, jonka nämä työntekijät tekevät oppiakseen uutta, työssä tarvitsemaansa kieltä eli suomea tai ruotsia. The ability of regulatory T cells (Tregs) to promote immunological tolerance represents an important obstacle in cancer immunotherapy. We have recently discovered that the clinically established immunotherapeutic agent interferon α (IFNα) inactivates the suppressive functions of human Tregs. Here, we outline the mechanisms whereby IFNα mediates this important function and discuss its therapeutic implications for cancer immunotherapy.
