PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to examine salespersons’ adoption and usage of mobile sales configuration tools (MSCT) and to identify areas for further development in this realm. Viedtālruņu pastāvīgā klātbūtne pamatskolas skolēnu dzīvē un mobilo mācību līdzekļu strauja attīstība ir pamats idejai par to apvienošanu, lai iepazīstinātu skolēnus ar jauniem motivējošiem vārdu krājuma apguves veidiem. Atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums tika veikts Teteles pamatskolā. Kā datu iegūšanas metodes tika izmantotas skolotāju aptaujas, intervijas ar angļu valodas skolotājiem, 57 skolēnu aptaujas (vecumā no 10 līdz 14 gadiem) pirms pētījuma, mobilo līdzekļu praktiskā izmantošana, un pamatskolas vecuma skolēnu aptaujas pēc pētījuma. How to define deviance residuals in multinomial regression.

This work is devoted to the study of diagnostic tools for categorical data models with an emphasis on the presence of continuous covariates. In particular, the aim is to define a new class of residuals from the parametric multinomial family of models and to study their asymptotics properties. In logistic regression (as in generalized linear models), there are a few different kinds of residuals; we propose a generalization of deviance residuals as defined in logistic regression to the multinomial case and propose their use in order to identify inadequacies in a multinomial model.

The Osteocephalus buckleyi species group is widely distributed in primary and secondary forests of the Amazon Basin and Guiana Region. Based on integrative analysis, including morphological and genetic data, we estimate the phylogenetic relationships and species boundaries among populations of the Osteocephalus buckleyi group from the Ecuadorian Amazon, focusing on the O. verruciger-O. cannatellai species complex. Our results uncovered the existence of one confirmed candidate species from Sangay National Park and one unconfirmed candidate species.
