Reduced reference image quality assessment (RRIQA) methods aim to assess the quality of a perceived image with only a reduced cue from its original version, called ”reference image”. The powerful advantage of RR methods is their ”General-purpose”. However, most introduced RR methods are built upon a non-adaptive transform models. In the field of Image Quality Assessment (IQA), this paper examines a Reduced Reference (RRIQA) measure based on the bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition. The proposed measure belongs to Natural Scene Statistics (NSS) modeling approaches. First, the reference image is decomposed into Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMF); the authors then use the Generalized Gaussian Density (GGD) to model IMF coefficients distribution. In particular, this software can be used as a valid aid in design and analysis for a wide variety of windings with generic number of phases, pole pairs, slot number, etc.. The calculation of winding factors and the evaluation of their harmonic distribution is also accomplished. The software is implemented in MATLAB® environment. Modeling Atmospheric Turbulence via Rapid Distortion Theory: Spectral Tensor of Velocity and Buoyancy

Abstract A spectral tensor model is presented for turbulent fluctuations of wind velocity components and temperature, assuming uniform vertical gradients in mean temperature and mean wind speed. The model is built upon rapid distortion theory (RDT) following studies by Mann and by Hanazaki and Hunt, using the eddy lifetime parameterization of Mann to make the model stationary. Argyroploce unedana Baixeras, new species, is described from the Iberian Peninsula. The species is closely related to A. arbutella (L., 1758), which occurs on most of the European continent; the two species are allopatric. Although they share similar biologies, the two can be distinguished by structures of the male and female genitalia. Genitalia variability is analyzed. Forewing patterns and hindwing anal roll are discussed in relation to their systematic significance. The olethreutine wing pattern is reexamined. Se dan a conocer dos especies de Tortricidae (Olethreutinae, Grapholitini) del género Pammene Hübner, [1825]: P. obscurana (Stephens, 1834) y P. suspectana ([Lienig] & Zeller, 1846). Éstas se diagnosticaron mediante el estudio de la genitalia de ejemplares masculinos capturados en Cataluña en trampas delta de base pegajosa, cebadas con feromona sexual de Cydia pomonella (Linnaeus, 1758) y de Grapholita molesta (Busck, 1916). La primera es nueva para Cataluña (España); la segunda lo es para la fauna íbero-balear.
