Šapiro-Lu ilūzijas uztvere redzes lauka perifērijā

Bakalaura darbā tika aprakstītas iluzorās kustības īpatnības redzes lauka perifērijā, uztverot rotējoša objekta krišanu pa slīpu trajektoriju. Tika pētīta mācīšanās efekta esamība, salīdzināti “naivo” un “iemācīto” dalībnieku rezultāti, kā arī salīdzināti testa izpildes rezultāti divām vecuma grupām. Literatūras pārskatā bija apkopota informācija no 1959. līdz 2014. gadam. Bakalaura darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, tā apjoms ir 30 lpp. Darbs satur 18 attēlus, 1 tabulu un tajā tika izmantoti 47 literatūras avoti.

Recent advances in cytometry have radically altered the fate of single-cell proteomics by allowing a more accurate understanding of complex biological systems. Mass cytometry (CyTOF) provides simultaneous single-cell measurements that are crucial to understand cellular heterogeneity and identify novel cellular subsets. <p><em>Desanimado</em> es un cortometraje de 7 minutos, realizado durante 2010 y 2011, que reflexiona con tono cómico sobre la diferencia, apoyándose en el subtexto de la diversidad sexual, y sobre el propio medio animado. Además, está realizado en la Universitat Politècnica, pues su autor, Emilio Martí López, ideó el cortometraje mientras cursaba el Máster en Producción Artística, tutorizado por el profesor Miquel Guillem. En este artículo, escrito por alguien muy cercano al director, destacamos sus características principales, y algunos puntos clave de su exitosa trayectoria una vez que ha empezado a rodar por festivales y certámenes bien variados.</p>
Combining Sequence Analysis and Hidden Markov Models in the Analysis of Complex Life Sequence Data

Life course data often consists of multiple parallel sequences, one for each life domain of interest. Multichannel sequence analysis has been used for computing pairwise dissimilarities and finding clusters in this type of multichannel (or multidimensional) sequence data. Describing and visualizing such data is, however, often challenging. We propose an approach for compressing, interpreting, and visualizing the information within multichannel sequences by finding (1) groups of similar trajectories and (2) similar phases within trajectories belonging to the same group. Effects of empagliflozin on CA125 trajectory in patients with chronic congestive heart failure

INTRODUCTION: We aimed to evaluate the trajectory of two surrogates of fluid overload -antigen carbohydrate 125 (CA125) and amino-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP)- after the addition of oral empagliflozin to usual care in a cohort of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and type 2 diabetes (T2D). METHODS AND RESULTS: From October 2015 to February 2019, 60 ambulatory patients with CHF and T2D were retrospectively included.
