The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficiency cost of transfers. To this end, we develop a model of individual demand decisions about the provision of a regional public good that encompasses a continuum of tax–transfer scenarios to finance regional public expenditure. We assume that individuals have identical quasi-linear preferences defined over private consumption and the regional public good, that endowment income varies between individuals and regions, and that regions have different predetermined sizes. The result of current aid policies is that only a small percentage of foreign aid reaches the poorest of the poor in the least developed countries. Current trends of urbanisation and self-reliance place elderly people in an increasingly difficult situation. This paper aims to stimulate debate by introducing an alternative mechanism for foreign aid. With the help of an economic model, we demonstrate how direct cash transfers to elderly people can spur economic growth. Targeting all elderly people above a certain age minimises selection costs and removes perverse incentives. For our corpus, we have chosen the Manuscript of Coburg, edited by R. Colliot, the German translation, made by Veit Warbeck in 1527 and edited by J. Bolte and a Czech edition from 1780, published again by J. International audience; The transfer of small analytes in a multiphasic stirred fruit yoghurt model, made of a pectin gel aimed to mimic fruit pieces and of a dairy gel done with milk acidified by glucono-δ-lactone hydrolysis, have been studied. The concentration gradients between the pectin gel and the dairy gel were the driving force for the migration of small analytes (i.e. water, protons and colorants). Water migrated from the dairy to the pectin gel, causing modifications in the water content of both gels and an equilibration of their water activity at 0.938±0.003. Parenthood and gender inequality : Population-based evidence on the child penalty in Finland

This study presents evidence on the effect of parenthood on labor market outcomes in Finland. We use population-based data drawn from administrative registers and an event study design centered around the birth of the first child using the specification proposed in Kleven et al. (2019b). The study confirms that women encounter large short- and long-term child penalties in gross labor earnings and that penalties are associated with employment participation. Taxes and social security transfers considerably reduce the child penalty, which also varies by the number of children. peerReviewed

Chardonnay wine malolactic fermentations were carried out to evaluate the chemical transfers occurring at the wood/wine interface in the presence of two different bacterial lifestyles.
