Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka pieaugošais cilvēkresursu trūkums veselības aprūpē, kā rezultātā palielinās māsu noslodze - nepieciešamais laika apjoms konkrētu darbību un pienākumu veikšanai. Foot-strike and the associated load rate are factors related to overuse injuries in runners. The purpose of this study was to analyse structural and functional changes in runners using floating heel running shoes, compared with runners using conventional footwear. A randomised control trial was conducted. Twenty runners with overuse injuries were followed over a 12-week gait retraining programme using floating heel running shoes or their conventional footwear. Tutkimuksen tehtävä on ollut tarkastella mieheyden ja maskuliinisuuden ja seksuaalisen väkivallan kytkeytymistä. Tutkimus tarkastelee miehiä uhreina. Kyseessä on vahvasti sukupuolisidonnainen ilmiö. Olen lähestynyt aihetta tarkastelemalla maskuliinisuuden ja mieheyden käsitteitä, joiden avulla olen pyrkinyt avaamaan miesuhriuden olemusta. Tutkielmassani olen tehnyt yhtäältä teoreettista käsiteanalyysiä sekä katsausta aikaisempaan empiiriseen tutkimukseen. Seksuaalinen väkivalta on vaikea aihe tutkia ja se vaikuttaa erityisesti tutkimuksen metodisiin valintoihin. Rodi-Risberg addresses trauma’s generic border-crossing movement through Sophie Hannah’s socially conscious crime thriller Hurting Distance (2007), a trauma narrative of sexual violence and emotional abuse that can be referred to as crime trauma fiction because it incorporates and blends features of both genres. Rodi-Risberg’s main argument is that crime trauma fiction such as Hannah’s novel represents traumatic experience as politically significant by mobilising affect through its themes of violence as social critique. Maģistra darba mērķis ir atklāt, kā sociālā atmiņa ietekmē savstarpējo komunikāciju pēc-padomju paaudzē, kurai pieder Latvijā dzīvojošie latvieši un krievvalodīgie, kuri dzimuši 1991. gadā un pēc tā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkotas sociālās atmiņas pētniecība, kā arī traumas, paaudžu, starpkultūru komunikācijas, identitātes, komunikācijas identitātes teoriju koncepti. Pētījuma datu kopu veido 23 strukturētās intervijas. Datu apstrāde veikta ar kvalitatīvās kontentanalīzes palīdzību. Darba nobeigumā ir secināts, ka pēc-padomju paaudze uztver sarežģīto 20. gs. sociālo atmiņu daudz vieglākā formā, tā iemesla dēļ, ka šos laikus nav piedzīvojuši.
