Exploring the impact of sustainable value proposition on firm performance

Considering the immense potential of sustainable business models in tackling the broader challenge of corporate sustainability, this paper integrates the literature streams on sustainability practices and organizational business models to analyze the performance implications of a firm's sustainable value proposition. Based on the analysis of a large panel dataset across different industries, consistent with the proposed theory, a sustainable value proposition has been found to have a positive impact on a firm's market-based financial performance (namely, Tobin's Q). Timo Anttila tarkasteli väitöstutkimuksessaan 1990-luvulla toteutettuja työajan lyhentämisen kokeiluja. Suomessa 1990-luvun työllisyyskriisi nosti työajan lyhentämisen ja työn jakamisen vilkkaan keskustelun kohteeksi. Julkiseen keskusteluun nousi myös professori Paavo Seppäsen jo vuonna 1967 ideoima päivävuoromalli, jota 1990-luvulla alettiin kutsua myös 6+6 -malliksi. The PROMO project is based around a series of policy workshops and conferences from 2017 and 2018. The project aims to make recommendations to improve: • national labour protection systems for posted workers; • institutions, practices and channels for promoting industrial democracy for posted workers; • the collection of data relevant to making informed posted worker policy decisions. Tutkielman tavoitteena oli kuvata matkailualan perustutkinnon suorittaneen matkailupalvelujen tuottajan kokemusta ammatillisesta identiteetistään ammatillisen kasvun ja kehittymisen eri vaiheissa. Tavoitteena oli myös ymmärtää, millaisia aineksia matkailualan perustutkinnon suorittaminen on antanut opiskelijoiden ammatillisen identiteetin kehittymiselle ja subjektiksi tulemiselle. Drivers of job-related learning among low-educated employees in the Nordic countries

This study explored drivers of participation in job-related lifelong learning (LLL) among low-educated mature-aged employees and compared them across four Nordic countries. Workplaces can be low-threshold, effective arenas for development of their skills in work and learning. The paper builds on the Bounded Agency Model and theories of learning motivation, human capital, and workplace learning.
