This study examines parents’ experiences of the assessment and its outcomes in child welfare. The research question is as follows: What factors concerning the assessment process and context contribute to the outcomes of the assessment from the perspective of the parents? This critical sociolinguistic study explores how mining work is governed in the name of security in a mine in Arctic Finland. Although the mining industry is dominated by multinational corporations, mines themselves tend to be concentrated in peripheries where a mobile and multilingual workforce is recruited. his study examined the relationship between trait emotional intelligence (EI) and variation in psychological (positive affect: PA, negative affect: NA) and psychophysiological (salivary alpha-amylase: sAA) indicators among Japanese employees over 3 consecutive days (working day 1, non-working day, working day 2). The analyses revealed that higher trait EI was associated across the days with higher PA, but not with NA. Tämä pro gradu-työ tarkastelee kirjallisuuden ja empiirisen tutkimuksen avulla työntekijöiden sitoutumista organisaatioissa, joiden toiminnalle korkea luotettavuusvaatimus on edellytys. Työntekijöiden sitoutuminen ja sen merkitys organisaation menestykselle on noussut kiinnostuksenkohteeksi niin käytännössä kuin akateemisen tutkimuksen piirissä. Sisäinen viestintä on yksi väline jolla sitoutumista voi tukea organisaatiossa, ja sillä on myös merkitystä organisaation toimintavarmuudelle.
