Desde finales de los años 50 hasta la crisis del petróleo en 1973, el desarrollo económico de Alemania precisó de una enorme afluencia de mano obrera inmigrante. El paro y la pobreza llevaron a muchos españoles a buscar mejores condiciones de vida en la emigración a Europa, fomentados además desde las instancias oficiales. El encuentro entre ambas culturas frecuentemente iba acompañado de un complicado proceso de adaptación a los países receptores e hizo aflorar diversos prejuicios, estereotipos y autoestereotipos que esta ponencia pretende analizar con la ayuda de material documental.

Los esteroides sexuales como la testosterona (T) producen una organización y/o modificaciones relativamente permanentes de la estructura y función del sistema nervioso central. Una alta exposición prenatal a la T podría estar relacionada con una mayor sensibilidad a los efectos activadores de dicha hormona durante la edad adulta. Por otra parte, las fluctuaciones en los niveles endógenos de T pueden modificar transitoriamente las capacidades socio-cognitivas. El esta monografia se presentan los principales resultados del proyecto Europeo "Free to Chose" acerca del impacto de los estereotipos de género en la transición escuela trabajo, realizado en 5 países de la Europa Mediterránea: Italia, España, Portugal, Chipre y Slovenia. Se presenta el marco teórico en le que se trabajó acerca de los estereotipos y concretamente sobre ls de género, seguidamente se presentan los datos de los cinco países relativos a las brechas de género en la educación y en el trabajo y finalmente se ofrecen sugerencias acerca de como crear juegos para aumentar la conciencias de los jóvenes de que muchas creencias solo son estereotipos.

PSMA6 (rs2277460, rs1048990), PSMC6 (rs2295826, rs2295827) and PSMA3 (rs2348071) genetic diversity was investigated in 1438 unrelated subjects from Latvia, Lithuania and Taiwan. In general, polymorphism of each individual locus showed tendencies similar to determined previously in HapMap populations. Main differences concern Taiwanese and include presence of rs2277460 rare allele A not found before in Asians and absence of rs2295827 rare alleles homozygotes TT observed in all other human populations. Improving Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE)‐based models has large interest because simple and reliable analytical tools are necessary in the perspective of a sustainable land management. At first, in this paper, a general definition of the event rainfall‐ runoff erosivity factor for the USLE‐based models, REFₑ = (QR)ᵇ¹(EI₃₀)ᵇ², in which QR is the event runoff coefficient, EI₃₀ is the single‐storm erosion index, and b₁ and b₂ are coefficients, was introduced. Abstract In the context of the current prolonged economic crisis, we were wondering if the typical behaviour of Romanians in terms of their ‘fairness’ has suffered any modification. This study is trying to identify the effect of psychological pressure created by the economic crisis on fairness using the Ultimatum Game. We aim to look at the question if this hypothetical phenomenon applies mostly to people who use economic information in their day-to-day life (e.g., economic science students) or if it also affects different populations (e.g., psychology students). Another aim is to understand if any difference is influenced mainly by vocational personalities as Holland hs described.

The peritoneum is a serous membrane consisting of different kinds of cells and extracellular matrix components (ECM). The aim of the present study was to develop a three-dimensional (3D) in vitro culture system for possible investigation of pathological conditions of the peritoneum. Human omental mesothelial cells (MC) and endothelial cells from the umbilical vein (EC) were cultivated either on (MC) or in (EC) a preformed type I collagen matrix. In 3D culture mesothelial cells showed their phenotypical in vivo characteristics and the synthesis of a new basal membrane (BM). For the prediction of the unerupted canine and premolars mesiodistal size, have been proposed different variants of multiple linear regression equations (MLRE). These are based on the amount of the upper and lower permanent incisors with a tooth of the lateral support.
