Abstract: Theoretical approaches towards a classification of texts and empirical analyses of individual text types have been pursued more or less independently of each other. Without reference to a common theoretical framework, the results obtained when analysing individual texts cannot be compared — making it impossible to relate the individual text types to each other, and thus determine the scope of validity of the features which turn out to be characteristic of a group of texts. El paro y la pobreza llevaron a muchos españoles a buscar mejores condiciones de vida en la emigración a Europa, fomentados además desde las instancias oficiales. El encuentro entre ambas culturas frecuentemente iba acompañado de un complicado proceso de adaptación a los países receptores e hizo aflorar diversos prejuicios, estereotipos y autoestereotipos que esta ponencia pretende analizar con la ayuda de material documental.

El esta monografia se presentan los principales resultados del proyecto Europeo "Free to Chose" acerca del impacto de los estereotipos de género en la transición escuela trabajo, realizado en 5 países de la Europa Mediterránea: Italia, España, Portugal, Chipre y Slovenia. Se presenta el marco teórico en le que se trabajó acerca de los estereotipos y concretamente sobre ls de género, seguidamente se presentan los datos de los cinco países relativos a las brechas de género en la educación y en el trabajo y finalmente se ofrecen sugerencias acerca de como crear juegos para aumentar la conciencias de los jóvenes de que muchas creencias solo son estereotipos.
Fairness behavior in an economic crisis environment: a Romanian experimental perspective

Abstract In the context of the current prolonged economic crisis, we were wondering if the typical behaviour of Romanians in terms of their ‘fairness’ has suffered any modification. This study is trying to identify the effect of psychological pressure created by the economic crisis on fairness using the Ultimatum Game. We aim to look at the question if this hypothetical phenomenon applies mostly to people who use economic information in their day-to-day life (e.g., economic science students) or if it also affects different populations (e.g., psychology students). Another aim is to understand if any difference is influenced mainly by vocational personalities as Holland hs described.

(2005); Am J Hum Genet 77:958-965] reported paternal over-transmission of risk alleles in some ADHD-associated genes. This was particularly clear in the case of the DAT1 3'-UTR VNTR. In the current investigation, we analyzed three new sample comprising of 1,248 ADHD nuclear families to examine the allelic over-transmission of DAT1 in ADHD. The IMAGE sample, the largest of the three-replication samples, provides strong support for a parent of origin effect for allele 6 and the 10 repeat allele (intron 8 and 3'-UTR VNTR, respectively) of DAT1. Differential haplotypic expression of the interleukin-18 gene

Interleukin 18 (IL-18) is suspected to play an important role in atherosclerosis and plaque vulnerability. We had previously shown that haplotypes combining two IL18 gene polymorphisms in complete linkage disequilibrium, C-105T (rs360717) in 5'-untranslated region (UTR) and A+183G (rs5744292) in 3'-UTR, were related to IL-18 circulating levels and cardiovascular outcome, the C(-105) G(+183) haplotype being associated with lower IL-18 levels and lower cardiovascular risk.
