La presente Tesis Doctoral tiene por objetivo conocer el estado del parasitismo intestinal en los habitantes del litoral paranaense (Paraná, Brasil) y su relación con diferentes factores intrínsecos y extrínsecos. Para ello, se ha estudiado un total de 766 habitantes, con edades comprendidas entre los 0 y 76 años de edad, procedentes tanto de comunidades insulares como continentales del municipio de Paranaguá. Se ha detectado un espectro parasitario de al menos 14 especies (9 protozoos y 5 helmintos), con una prevalencia total de parasitación del 46,1%, fundamentalmente de protozoos (42,7%) frente a helmintos (10,1%), y con predominio del monoparasitismo (53,9%). AbstractTertiary ultrapotassic volcanic rocks from Serbia occasionally display low levels of K2O and K2O/ Na2O. In these rocks, analcime regularly appears as pseudomorphs after pre-existing leucite microphenocrysts. The process ofleucite transformation in Serbian ultrapotassic rocks is very thorough: fresh leucite survives only in ugandites from the Koritnik lava flows as well as in rare inclusions in Cpx. Summary This paper presents the characteristics of the species Ganoderma lucidum in terms of health-promoting properties. This species is rare in Poland, and is subject to strict protection. Reishi is classified as a medicinal mushroom which fruiting bodies are characterized by a content of active substances with diverse positive effects on human health. G. lucidum is particularly rich source of bioactive compounds, which are obtained from fruiting bodies, mycelium and spores of this species. Gut microbiota plays a key role in obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), so synbiotics could be a therapeutic alternative. Abstract Pholiotina cyanopus was collected from wood chips and other woody remnants of undetermined tree species. Its basidiomata were found in June within the area of closed sawmill in the central part of Żywiec city (SW Poland). Description and illustration of Ph. cyanopus based on Polish specimens are provided and its ecology, general distribution and comparison with similar taxa – Pholiotina smithii, Pholiotina sulcatipes, and others are discussed as well.
