Background & aims Obeticholic acid (OCA) is the second-line treatment approved for patients with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) and an inadequate response or intolerance to ursodeoxycholic acid. Recent studies have suggested that health constructs embraced by the Terror Management Theory (TMT) and the Basic Psychological Needs Theory (BPNT) may drive individuals’ COVID-19 health-related decisions. El tratamiento neoadyuvante en el cáncer de mama (CM) permite estudiar marcadores subrogados que puedan predecir respuesta clínica y supervivencia. La respuesta completa patológica (RCp) definida como la ausencia de tumor infiltrante en la mama y axila en la pieza quirúrgica se asocia a mejor supervivencia. En los tumores triple negativos el tratamiento de elección es la combinación de quimioterapia, antraciclinas y taxanos son los esquemas con mayor evidencia, junto con carboplatino alcanzando tasas de RCp del 35-60 %. The story of a prisoner inside an enormous steel mountain is embedded in Kullervo, an early Finnish tragedy by 19th-century author Aleksis Kivi. I focus here on the exceptional size of the mountain, as told by the main character, Kullervo. Although the embedded story has aroused admiration in research, the mountain’s size and form do not appear to have done so. If taken literally, and assuming the shape of a double pyramid, at a minimum, the mountain’s surface area would be between that of Earth and Uranus, a planet that Kivi was somehow aware of. Viime vuosikymmeniä pidetään angloamerikkalaisen kulttuurin valtakautena Suomessakin, mutta ennen toista maailmansotaa se oli suomalaisille nykynäkökulmasta katsoen yllättävänkin kaukainen ja vähän tunnettu kulttuuri. Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitetään välittäjien - erityisesti kustantajien, julkisen kritiikin ja tutkimuksen - vaikutusta siihen, millaiseksi angloamerikkalaisen kaunokirjallisuuden profiili Suomessa muodostui vuosina 1890-1939. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan, millainen kirjallisuus välittyi parhaiten suomalaisille lukijoille ja millainen taas jäi "varjoon".
