This study looks at the communication between users concerning health risks, with the aim of exploring their use of fora and assessing whether participants establish a niche with like-minded users during these exchanges. Iconic environments intend to provide expressive tools to implement, to debug and to execute programs. Moreover its pictorial constructs guide the user to design algorithms in an interactive fashion. Visual interfaces are especially required whenever programs run on an heterogeneous and reconfigurable multiprocessor system oriented to image analysis. Pictorial tools help the user to control the scope of variables, and the distribution of the tasks into the processors. Cycling behavior remains a key issue for explaining several traffic causalities occurring every day. However, recent studies have shown how the assessment of the own safety-related behaviors on the road may substantially differ from how third parties assess them. Il contributo, che prosegue alcuni precedenti progetti di ricerca avviati dall'autrice sin dai primi anni duemila, è centrato sullo spazio abitabile e sul potenziale identitario di un edificio. Punto di partenza del suo ragionamento è il presupposto che lo spazio misurabile è anche spazio mentale. Ciò attiva una serie di considerazioni legate al rapporto tra il tempo della storia e il tempo del fruitore. Un edificio, pertanto, e nello specifico una biblioteca sia pubblica o privata sia nazionale o di quartiere, si percepisce ed esiste anche nel tempo soggettivo di chi la fruisce.

Personal mobile devices, such as mobile phones, smartphones, and communicators can be easily lost or stolen. Due to the functional abilities of these devices, their use by unintended persons may result in severe security breaches concerning private or corporate data and services. Organizations develop their security policy and employ preventive techniques to combat unauthorized use. HyperLabelMe : A Web Platform for Benchmarking Remote-Sensing Image Classifiers

HyperLabelMe is a web platform that allows the automatic benchmarking of remote-sensing image classifiers. To demonstrate this platform's attributes, we collected and harmonized a large data set of labeled multispectral and hyperspectral images with different numbers of classes, dimensionality, noise sources, and levels. The registered user can download training data pairs (spectra and land cover/use labels) and submit the predictions for unseen testing spectra. SEQPACKER: A Biologist-Friendly User Interface to Manipulate Nucleotide Sequences in Genomic Epidemiology

The aim of this paper is to present a new integrated bioinformatics tool for manipulating nucleotide sequences with a user-friendly graphical interface. This tool is named “SeqPacker” because it uses DNA/RNA sequences. In addition, SeqPacker can be seen as a kind of nucleotide chain editor using standardized technologies, nucleotide representation standards, and high platform portability in support of research in Genomic Epidemiology. SeqPacker is written in JAVA as free and stand-alone software for several computer platforms.
