The evolutionary trajectories toward insect eusociality come in two broad forms. In species like wasps, bees, and ants, the first helpers remained at the nest primarily to help with brood care. In species like aphids and termites, on the other hand, nest defense was initially the primary ecological driving force. Although the association between telomere length and frailty has been studied previously, only a few studies assessing longitudinal changes in telomere length and frailty exist. Abstract This paper examines how the shift to knowledge and innovation economy has created new sites for the commodification of language and communication in the context of organizational consulting. The data come from a consultant-led development and training program of the management teams of a Finnish educational organization. In the study, the year-long training was videotaped (45 h) and followed ethnographically. Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma käsittelee Keski-Suomen Emäntäkoulun historiallista puutarhaa ja puistomaista ympäristöä. Emäntäkoulu perustettiin Mankolan tilalle lähelle Jyväskylän keskustaa, ja maataloushallituksen arkkitehti Jalmari Peltosen suunnittelema koulurakennus valmistui vuonna 1932. Koulussa opiskeltiin monipuolisia talouden- ja kodinhoidon töitä, joiden katsottiin kuluvan maalaistalon emännälle. Emäntäkouluun kuului laaja koulupuutarha, jolla oli tärkeä asema opetuksessa ja sisäoppilaitoksen ruokatalouden ylläpitämisessä.
