Artikkelissa avataan sekä sitä, kuinka Wrightin todellisen utopian käsite tulisi ymmärtää, että sitä, kuinka hänen oma utopiansa eli ”sosiaalinen sosialismi” voisi olla mahdollinen ja millaiset tosimaailman kokeilut hänen mukaansa ennakoivat ja prefiguroivat tätä utopiaa.
