Pro gradu – tutkielmamme on aineistolähtöinen tutkimus uuden varhaiskasvatuslain uudistamisprosessista. Tutkimuksen lähtökohtana ovat lapsen etu, lapsivaikutusten arviointi ja lainvalmistelu asiantuntijatyönä. Tutkimuksemme tehtävänä on selvittää, miten uuden varhaiskasvatuslain lainvalmisteluprosessissa asiantuntijat määrittelevät lapsen etua. Tavoitteenamme on saavuttaa ymmärrys siitä, kuinka ja mistä eri näkökulmista asiantuntijat lähestyivät lapsen edun käsitettä ja kuinka he kokevat sen toteutuneen työryhmän työskentelyssä.
