With climate change becoming ever-present as a huge environmental issue for the modern era to address, pro-environmental behavior (PEB) is becoming an increasingly relevant area. There seems to be a divergence between how different actors try and encourage PEB when using emotion as the motivational tool. This paper provides a brief overview of how Dual VET was implemented in the Spanish VET system. Dual VET was first regulated in Spain by the end of 2012 with the aim to replace the existing work experience module (FCT) within formal VET. However, companies have hardly contributed to its development, and the educational administrations that mandated it did not support its anchorage in the economy, while forcing VET schools and teachers to introduce it. Money and the natural rate of interest: structural estimates for the United States and the Euro area

We examine the role of money, allowing for three competing environments: the New Keynesian model with separable utility and static money demand; a non-separable utility variant with habit formation; and a version with adjustment costs for holding real balances. The last two variants imply forward-looking behavior of real money balances, as it is optimal for agents to allow their forecast of future interest rates to affect current portfolio decisions. We distinguish between these specifications by conducting a structural econometric analysis for the U.S. and the euro area. FIML estimates confirm the forward-looking character of money demand. Recent decreases in rates of death from colorectal cancer indicate that screening methods such as colonoscopy have a positive impact. Economic evaluation on the use of reconfiguration systems for increase of energy production in PV plants

This paper presents an economic analysis of the effectiveness of Dynamic Reconfiguration Systems (DRS) for PV plants in dependence of the incentive policies offered by several countries of the European Community. This evaluation has been achieved by means of the NPV (Net Present Value) and through the comparison between Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Croatia. From the obtained results, it can be stated that the adoption of reconfiguration systems, in certain cases, can be a convenient solution.
Filling defects in a ceramics forming process

Publisher Summary This paper presents a simple semi-heuristic method to predict mold filling defects in a porcelain forming process. It involves both a mechanical modelling of this process as a squeezing flow, and a postprocessing calculus that unable a defects prediction as soon as the shape and the size of artistic reliefs are known. This shape analysis is carried out with a multi resolution wavelet analysis. The chapter models the filling stage and to propose a criterium to avoid any filling defect that could waste the quality of the drawings.
