Struktura i właściwości kopolimerów etylenu z norbornenem otrzymanych wobec katalizatora wanadocenowego

2018

W prezentowanej pracy zbadano właściwości wybranych kopolimerów etylenu (E) z norbornenem (NB) otrzymanych przy wykorzystaniu homogenicznego katalizatora wanadocenowego Cp2VCl2 aktywowanego tradycyjnym związkiem glinoorganicznym AlEt2Cl. Określono zależność pomiędzy stopniem wbudowania komonomeru w łańcuch kopolimeru a mikrostrukturą, masą molową, rozkładem mas molowych, temperaturą zeszklenia i…

Wpływ wybranych parametrów na efektywność katalizowanej wanadocenem kopolimeryzacji etylenu z norbornenem i właściwości otrzymanych produktów

2019

Water leaching of roasted vanadium slag : Desiliconization and precipitation of ammonium vanadate from vanadium solution

2023

This research investigated water leaching of roasted vanadium slag and studied the effects of leaching parameters, such as agitation speed, temperature, liquid-to-solid ratio, and leaching time. Further, solution purification via desiliconization and precipitation of ammonium vanadate were studied using the vanadium solution obtained from the water leaching of roasted vanadium slag. Vanadium solution contains residual silicon (1.67 g/L), which should be removed before ammonium vanadate precipitation. Based on the results, vanadium can be effectively recovered from vanadium slag and a recovery efficiency of 96.9% was obtained under optimal water leaching conditions. During solution purificat…

Effects of sulphonylureas on spontaneous motility and induced contractions in rat isolated uterus

1986

Abstract To clarify the action of sulphonylureas on calcium, the effect of tolbutamide and ghbenclamide has been investigated on a Ca-dependent process, the contractile activity of uterine smooth muscle. Both sulphonylureas antagonized the contractions evoked by CaCl2 in a non-competitive manner when the uterus was maintained in depolarizing solution and did not affect the spontaneous contractions of rat uterus. The capacity of tolbutamide and ghbenclamide to relax vanadate-induced contraction of rat uterus in Ca-free medium suggests that sulphonylureas may have an intracellular site of action related to cytosolic free Ca levels, or effect a reduction in Ca action.

Oxidovanadium(v) complexes with l-proline-based amino acid phenolates

2019

Abstract l -proline was used to prepare chiral, tridentate amino acid phenol proligands H2L1–4. These proligands react with vanadium precursors VO(acac)2, VOSO4∙5H2O and VO(OPr)3 in methanol to form the corresponding oxidoalkoxidovanadium( v ) complexes 1–4. The complexes crystallize from methanol, and are octahedrally coordinated with a general formula [VO(L1–4)(OMe)(MeOH)]. In solution, however, they adopt several different conformations or isomeric structures depending on the solvent.

Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy determination of trace element composition of argan oil.

2011

A methodology based on inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) after microwave assisted acid digestion has been developed to determine the trace element content of Moroccan argan oil. Limit of detection values equal or lower than few mg/kg were obtained for all elements under study. To assure the accuracy of the whole procedure, recovery studies were carried out on argan oil samples spiked at different concentration levels from 10 to 200 µg/L. Quantitative average recovery values were obtained for all elements evaluated, demonstrating the suitability of this methodology for the determination of trace elements in argan oil samples. Aluminum, calcium, chromium, iro…

Transient guided-mode resonance metasurfaces with phase-transition materials

2023

We investigate transient, photo-thermally induced metasurface effects in a planar thin-film multilayer based on a phase-transition material. Illumination of a properly designed multilayer with two obliquely incident and phase-coherent pulsed pumps induces a transient and reversible temperature pattern in the phase-transition layer. The deep periodic modulation of the refractive index, caused by the interfering pumps, produces a transient Fano-like spectral feature associated with a guided-mode resonance. A coupled opto-thermal model is employed to analyze the temporal dynamics of the transient metasurface and to evaluate its speed and modulation capabilities. Using near-infrared pump pulses…

Total oxidation of propane in vanadia-promoted platinum-alumina catalysts: Influence of the order of impregnation

2015

Differently prepared vanadium promoted Pt/alumina catalysts have been prepared, characterized and tested for propane total oxidation. V-promoted Pt/Al2O3 catalysts have shown remarkably higher catalytic activity than V-free Pt/Al2O3 catalyst. Among V-promoted Pt catalysts that prepared by coimpregnation gave the highest alkane conversions in the whole range of reaction temperatures studied. Factors such as Pt particle size or the oxidation state of platinum do not seem to be the responsible for the enhanced performance. Modification of the redox properties of the catalyst (i.e. high reducibility of vanadium species) likely provoked by the close contact between platinum particles and vanadiu…

Vanadium-based Ziegler-Natta catalyst supported on MgCl2(THF)2 for ethylene polymerization

1996

A supported magnesium‐vanadium‐aluminium catalyst was prepared by depositing –with the use of a milling technique–VOCl3 on the MgCl2(THF)2 support and subsequent activation with diethylaluminium chloride. Catalytic activity of the obtained system for ethylene polymerization was evaluated as a function of Mg/V and Al/V ratios as well as catalyst ageing time and polymerization temperature. High concentrations of THF in the catalytic system and considerable excess of an organoaluminium co‐catalyst were found to have no deactivating action on vanadium active sites. The catalyst obtained is stable and its activity for ethylene polymerization is high. It yields polyethylene with higher molecular …

Effect of hydrogen on the ethylene polymerization process over Ziegler-Natta catalysts supported on MgCl2(THF)2. I. Studies of the chain-transfer rea…

2000

The effect of hydrogen on the molecular weight of polyethylene obtained over vanadium catalysts (based on VCl4 and VOCl3) supported on MgCl2(THF)2 was studied and the results were compared to those obtained for similar titanium catalysts. It was confirmed that the dependencies of the transfer reaction on the hydrogen concentration are a half-order in all investigated systems. However, the transition metal of the catalytic site affects the ratio of the transfer rate with hydrogen to the propagation rate (ktr,H/kp) and the results showed that hydrogen is a more effective agent of polyethylene molecular weight control in vanadium-based systems as compared to the titanium catalyst. © 2000 John …
