In this note, we study the problems of stability analysis and H ∞ controller synthesis of discrete-time switched systems with time-varying delay. The system under consideration is firstly transformed into an interconnection system. Based on the system transformation and the scaled small gain theorem, the asymptotic stability of the original system is examined via the version of the bounded realness of the transformed forward system. The aim of the proposed approach is to reduce conservatism, which is made possible by a precise approximation of the time-varying delay and the input-output approach. Spaces of weighted symbols and weighted sobolev spaces on manifolds

This paper gives an approach to pseudodifferential operators on noncompact manifolds using a suitable class of weighted symbols and Sobolev spaces introduced by H.O. Cordes on ℙ. Here, these spaces are shown to be invariant under certain changes of coordinates. It is therefore possible to transfer them to manifolds with a compatible structure.

Se analiza la situación actual del uso y la percepción social del valenciano entre los habitantes del País Valenciano a partir de los estudios realizados por el Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas. Para ello, se presta especial atención a variables sociodemográficas a partir de análisis estadístico multivariante con distribuciones de frecuencias bivariadas, análisis de segmentación y regresión logística. El estudio concluye que se produce un estancamiento en el porcentaje de hablantes del valenciano y que las personas de izquierdas y con mayor nivel de estudios son quienes se postulan más a favor de la unidad del valenciano con el catalán. 2021. gada 13.–15. oktobrī Latvijas Universitāte tiešsaistē organizēja XIII Starptautisko baltistu kongresu “Baltu valodas laikā un telpā”, kurā piedalījās vairāk nekā 170 dalībnieku no 11 valstīm. Covariant Operator Formalism for Quantized Superfields

The Takahashi-Umezawa method of deriving the free covariant quantization relations from the linear equations of motion is extended to superfields. The Cauchy problem for free superfields is solved, and an expression for the time independent scalar product is given. For the case of interacting fields, we give the general Kallen-Lehmann spectral representation for the two-point superfield Green functions and, after the introduction of the asymptotic condition for superfields, we give the superfield extension of the Yang-Feldman equation. The case of the D = 2 real scalar superfield and the case of the D = 4 chiral superfield are discussed in detail.

Abstract Sporadic thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAA) and dissections are one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, especially in those older than 65 years. The presentation of TAA is varied and often silent. Thus, sporadic TAA detection is often fortuitous, with identification occurring during a routine physical examination or during an unrelated medical evaluation. Extended Kalman Filter for sensorless control of induction motors

This paper deals with speed and rotor flux estimation of induction motors via Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). The filter is designed starting from a discrete time model obtained by means of a first order discretization of the original nonlinear model of the induction motor (IM). In order to obtain accurate estimation of the above mentioned variables, the load torque is included into the state variables and then estimated, thus constructing a sixth order EKF.
