The aim of this thesis was to evaluate Morocco’s privatization policy based on the opinions of final-year high-school students (n = 103) that were studying in either public or private schools. This was examined using a cross-sectional study design in which a structured, Likert scale questionnaire was administered at a night school in Casablanca, Morocco, where highschool students can take extra classes in preparation for their final year exam. The results were analyzed quantitatively by comparing the group means with an independent samples ttest, using an alpha level of 0.05. The authors single out three major crises that triggered and shaped the process of toughening the border regime and the related transformations of political meaning of the EU-Russia border: the COVID-19 pandemic, the drastic deterioration of Moscow-Brussels relations in the beginning of 2021 and the war in Ukraine that started on 24 February 2022. Tässä artikkelissa käsittelemme internetin venäjänkielisen segmentin, ”Runetin” sääntelyä kansalaisyhteiskunnan ja poliittisen opposition toiminnan rajoittamiseksi. Keskitymme toimenpiteisiin, jotka alkoivat opposition protestiaallon aikana 2011–2013, jolloin Kreml käynnisti päämäärätietoisen kampanjan Runetin poliittisen käytön kontrolloimiseksi. This chapter looks at how the Russian state authorities have attempted to influence communication on the Russian-speaking internet (‘Runet’) in the 2010s and how pro-government ‘patriotic’ views are disseminated across diverse channels of the internet. It examines the strategies employed by the Russian authorities to present propagandistic messages in discourses tailored for digital media users. Venäjänkielisen väestön määrä Suomessa on viime aikoina kasvanut merkittävästi, ja nykyään Suomessa asuu yli 62 000 venäjän äidinkielekseen määrittelevää ihmistä. Niin ikään myös kaksikielisten lasten määrä kasvaa ja sen myötä myös tutkijoiden kiinnostus väestöryhmää kohtaan. Suomessa tutkimuksia on aiemmin tehty muun muassa venäjänkielisten maahanmuuttajanuorten kieli-identiteetistä ja sopeutumisesta, mutta vähemmän kaksikielisten lasten näkökulmasta.
