An erratic dropstone of granodiorite with a water-escape structure from a Weichselian terrace along the River Gauja (NE Latvia)

Abstract A river terrace of the River Gauja (Latvia), built of Weichselian glaciolacustrine deposits, contains a large number of erratic boulders from the Fennoscandian Shield. These erratic boulders include several types of granites and granodiorites. Some of the granodiorites are so strongly weathered that they fall apart into mm-sized grains of individual minerals when it is attempted to take them out of the host sediment. This strongly weathered nature makes them physically comparable to unconsolidated sand. A consequence is that they may be subjected to soft-sediment deformation. The Influence of Aroma Compounds on Senzorial Traits of Wines From the Apold Depression

Abstract The present study aims at investigating aroma compounds in three wine varietals (Pinot gris, Traminer roz, Riesling) from Apold, the county of Sibiu, production of 2014, and their importance in realizing the sensorial profile of wines. Thus, it is ascertained that Traminer roz contains the highest amount of esters - 583.846 mg/L, a value that leads to the sensorial identification of floral and fruity notes. Higher alcohols determined through chromatography imprint specific traits to Pinot gris wines: bittersweet, floral notes validated through the determined amount (479.449 mg/L). Cet article présente une méthode d'analyse du lexique qui met en valeur l'isomorphisme entre le système des différences phonologiques et le système des différences sémantiques, en l'illustrant à partir des monosyllabes italiens qui distinguent la personne grammaticale. Diese Arbeit ist ein vollständiges Studium der Metallfunde aus den zwei Handwerkervierteln von Bliesbruck (Moselle, Frankreich). Diese Funde stammen aus vierzigjahrelangen Ausgrabungen. Das Korpus besteht aus 450 Kg Metall (Eisen, Kupferlegierungen, weisse Metalle, Gold) wovon 4 200 Objekte und 22 000 Nägel. Eine Objekt- und Funktionsidentifizierung und eine typologische Nägelzahl haben es ermöglicht, die Objektverbindungen wieder zusammenzusetzen und die Daten nach verschiedenen Kriterien einander gegenüberzustellen : Metall, Lage (Viertel und Grundstück), Chronologie und Befundnummertyp.
