AbstractMany organisms disperse in groups, yet this process is understudied in viruses. Recent work, however, has uncovered different types of collective infectious units, all of which lead to the joint delivery of multiple viral genome copies to target cells, favoring co-infections. Collective spread of viruses can occur through widely different mechanisms, including virion aggregation driven by specific extracellular components, cloaking inside lipid vesicles, encasement in protein matrices, or binding to cell surfaces. Scleral Buckling: A Review of Clinical Aspects and Current Concepts

Scleral buckling represents a valuable treatment option for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment repair. The surgery is based on two main principles: the closure of retinal breaks and the creation of a long-lasting chorioretinal adhesion. Buckles are placed onto the sclera with the purpose of sealing retinal breaks. Cryopexy is usually performed to ensure a long-lasting chorioretinal adhesion. El objetivo de este trabajo es conocer la opinión de las usuarias de una vivienda tutelada para mujeres, que han sufrido violencia o procesos de exclusión social, de los servicios sociales específicos de la Generalitat Valenciana. Para ello, se han analizado las respuestas de un cuestionario de satisfacción sobre el recurso, que se realizó a nueve mujeres acogidas y a la hija de una de ellas, durante los meses de febrero y mayo de 2014. Respecto a los resultados, destacan la rigidez de las normas y horarios, la poca flexibilidad de las profesionales, la pérdida de libertad e intimidad y el control al que están sometidas en todo momento, por lo que se sienten prisioneras. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää Englannin opetuksen tilaa ammatillisessa koulutuksessa. Suullista kielitaitoa painotetaan Ammatillisen perustutkinnon perusteissa sekä koulukohtaisissa opetussuunnitelmissa, joten myös tämä tutkimus keskittyi siihen. Vastaavia tutkimuksia on aiemmin tehty lukio-opetuksesta, mutta ei ammatillisesta opetuksesta. Aihe on tärkeä koska Suomessa osallistuu vuosittain satoja tuhansia ihmisiä ammatilliseen koulutukseen. Earlier research has shown that after physics instruction, many students have difficulties with the force concept, and with constructing free-body diagrams (FBDs). It has been suggested that treating forces as interactions could help students to identify forces as well as to construct the correct FBDs. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 37 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 12 attēlus, 3 tabulas un 41 atsauci uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis – noskaidrot, kā skatīšanās attālums līdz volumetriskajam ekrānam ietekmē relatīvā dziļuma uztveri. Pētījumā 20 dalībnieki veica relatīvā dziļuma noteikšanas uzdevumu uz volumetriskā daudzplakņu ekrāna dažādos skatīšanās attālumos (0,5 m – 2,5 m). Redzes stimulu veidoja četri apļi, kur viens no tiem tika projicēts tuvāk dalībniekam. Dalībnieka uzdevums bija noteikt tuvāko apli.
