Primary cultures of rat cortical astrocytes express phospholipase D (PLD) isoforms 1 and 2 as determined by RT-PCR and Western blot. Basal PLD activity was strongly (10-fold) increased by 4beta-phorbol-12beta,13alpha-dibutyrate (PDB) (EC(50): 56 nM), an effect which was inhibited by Ro 31-8220 (0.1-1 microM), an inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC), and by brefeldin A (10-100 microg/ml), an inhibitor of ADP-ribosylating factor (ARF) activation. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää, minkälaisia selviytymiskertomuksia yleisaikakauslehtien henkilöhaastatteluissa rakennetaan. Aineisto koostuu kerran viikossa ilmestyvistä yleisimmistä aikakauslehdistä, joita ovat Anna, Apu, Seura ja Me Naiset. Loka-marraskuun 2010 aikana selviytymisestä kertovia artikkeleita löytyi lehdistä yksitoista kappaletta. Selviytymisen kriteereiksi määrittelin kipeän menetyksen, rankan vastoinkäymisen tai trauman. Aluksi tutkielmassa kartoitetaan selviytymistä psykologian avulla. Sitten kerrataan aikakauslehden syntyä ja historiaa sekä selvennetään niin sanotun yksityisen ja julkisen ihmisen määritteitä. Trait emotional intelligence (EI) is a noteworthy psychological resource in nursing. However, its effects on well-being and job performance are inconsistent. Thus, we explored the latent beneficial and risk profiles of trait EI among 461 Japanese eldercare nurses. Latent profile analysis revealed six latent profiles. In addition, multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) showed that the profile with the highest overall scores on the trait EI dimensions was associated with the most beneficial outcomes (better well-being, higher job performance). Lai apgūtu kaligrāfiju, ir jāatpazīst burtu elementi, jāvingrina rokas muskulatūra, jāprot izmantot platgala un asgala instrumentus. Autore piedāvā vingrinājumu kopu dažādu instrumentu un materiālu pielietojumu kaligrāfijas pamatu apguvei.
