Mafic alkaline metasomatism in the lithosphere underneath East Serbia: evidence from the study of xenoliths and the host alkali basalts

Effects of mafic alkaline metasomatism have been investigated by a combined study of the East Serbian mantle xenoliths and their host alkaline rocks. Fertile xenoliths and tiny mineral assemblages found in depleted xenoliths have been investigated. Fertile lithologies are represented by clinopyroxene (cpx)-rich lherzolite and spinel (sp)-rich olivine websterite containing Ti-Alrich Cr-augite, Fe-rich olivine, Fe-Al-rich orthopyroxene and Al-rich spinel. Depleted xenoliths, which are the predominant lithology in the suite of East Serbian xenoliths, are harzburgite, cpxpoor lherzolite and rare Mg-rich dunite. Elymoclavin (1), Lysergol (2) und O-Acyl-lysergole werden in flussigem Ammoniak mit Kalium und Methyliodid zunachst am Indolstickstoff methyliert. Durch Variation der Versuchsbedingungen werden 1 und 2 sekundar auch an der Hydroxylgruppe methyliert. Aus 1-Methyl-lysergol (3) sind daher nach der gleichen Methode mit verschiedenen Alkyliodiden 1-Methyl-lysergol-ether darstellbar. Dagegen gelingt die Ethersynthese nach Williamson aus 17-Halogen-ergolenen nicht. Agroclavin (1) wird in flussigem Ammoniak/Kaliumamid mit Alkyliodid am Indolstickstoff alkyliert. 1 last sich mit N-Iodsuccinimid zu 2-Iod-1 (3) umsetzen. Mit der Bromcyan-Methode wird 6-Nor-1 (4b) gewonnen und danach an N-6 alkyliert. Partial Synthesis of New Ergoline Derivatives from Clavine Alkaloids, IV: Agroclavines Monosubstituted at N-1, C-2, and N-6 Agroclavine (1) is alkylated at the indole nitrogen with alkyl iodide in ammonia/potassium amide. It is convertible to 2-iodo-1 (3) with N-iodosuccinimide. Compound 6-nor-1 can be prepared by means of the cyanogen bromide method; alkylation at N-6 is described exemplarily for the ethyl derivative.

Il saggio prende in esame gli indovinelli in volgare anglosassone raccolti nel cosiddetto Codice Exoniense. Si mette in rilievo la natura composita dei componimenti. Se ne prendono in esame l'elemento didattico, la struttura, il lessico (con particolare riguardo agli hapax e alla loro posizione e funzione nell'indovinello), l'uso dei numeri e delle lettere. Particolare spazio è dedicato agli indovinelli dello scrivere (e del parlare), agli indovinelli a doppio senso, alla giocosità dei componimenti e alla loro fruizione.

This chapter reviews the literature on semiochemical-parasitoid systems in perennial crops. The first part of the chapter analyses the possible effects of pheromone-based tactics on parasitoid efficacy. In both orchards and vineyards, the most successful application of synthetic sex pheromones has been their use as mating disruptants. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää, miten kansainväliset opiskelijat kuvaavat sopeutumistaan Indonesiaan. Sopeutumista tarkastellaan erityisesti niiden ihmissuhteiden valossa, joita opiskelijat loivat Indonesiassa. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on lisäksi selvittää opiskelijoiden näkemyksiä siitä, miten kulttuuriset viestintätyylien erot sekä Englanti lingua franca -kielenä vaikuttivat ihmissuhteiden kehittymiseen. History of a Vineyard in Champagne: From Eighteenth to Twenty-First Century

This contribution illustrates the history of the vineyard in Champagne in interaction with the invention of sparkling wines in an area of ancient viticulture. The socio-geographical configuration of this vineyard progressively changed, associating crises and expansions, at the end of which emerges in the twentieth century a vineyard very different from that existing in the early eighteenth century, when the sparkling wine was invented in the Champagne region.
