In the process of learning a new computer language, writing erroneous statements is part of the learning experience. However, some errors persist throughout the query writing process and are never corrected. Structured Query Language (SQL) consists of a number of different concepts such as expressions, joins, grouping and ordering, all of which by nature invite different possible errors in the query writing process. Purpose: Emmetropization requires coordinated scaling of the major ocular components, corneal curvature and axial length. This coordination is achieved in part through a shared set of genetic variants that regulate eye size. Poorly coordinated scaling of corneal curvature and axial length results in refractive error. We tested the hypothesis that genetic variants regulating eye size in emmetropic eyes are distinct from those conferring susceptibility to refractive error. Tutkin taukoja venäjänkielisten henkilöiden suomenkielisessä puheessa. Aineistona on 32 Yleisten kielitutkintojen keskitason tasoarvion kolme ja neljä saaneiden henkilöiden puhenäytettä. Puhenäytteet kestävät noin kaksi minuuttia, ja ne ovat yksinpuheluita, joissa kokeen osallistuja puhuu annetusta aiheesta pienen valmisteluajan jälkeen. Tutkimukseen valikoituneista näytteistä suurimmassa osassa puhutaan liikunnan merkityksestä elämässä, mutta muistakin samantasoisista aiheista puhutaan. Refractive error, measured here as mean spherical equivalent (SER), is a complex eye condition caused by both genetic and environmental factors. Individuals with strong positive or negative values of SER require spectacles or other approaches for vision correction. Common genetic risk factors have been identified by genome-wide association studies (GWAS), but a great part of the refractive error heritability is still missing.
