Infiniviz: Taking Quake 3 Arena on a Large-Scale Display System to the Next Level

The authors of this paper have previously presented a large-scale display system called Infiniviz in other publications. Infiniviz attempts to improve network bandwidth consumption and computational performance compared to other existing large-scale display systems. Since the previous publications have been made in early development stages of Infiniviz, only the overview of the software architecture and details of hardware implementation have been presented so far. This paper contains a real-life test of Infiniviz running Quake 3 Arena at a resolution of 9600 x 5400 at 24 fps. Darbā ir veikts pētījums par Linux konteineru, īpašu uzsvaru liekot uz Docker, pielietojamību kā virtualizācijas platformu infrastruktūras servisu mākonī. Darbs izstrādāts ar mērķi izprast uz Linux konteineriem balstītu mākoņu realizācijas tehnoloģijas un to attīstības tendences un izmantot iegūtās zināšanas reāla datu centra infrastruktūras un servisu pakalpojumu nodrošināšanai. Pētījuma gaitā tika uzstādīts Docker virtualizācijas dzinis uz OpenStack platformas, kā arī tika uzstādīti un izpētīti vairāki citi projekti, kuri ir cieši saistīti ar Docker konteineru pārvaldības rīku un ir potenciāli izmantojami kā mākoņskaitļošanas platformu komponentes.

Identification <i>In Silico</i> and <i>In Vitro</i> of Novel Trypanosomicidal Drug-like Compounds

Atom-based bilinear indices and linear discriminant analysis are used to discover novel trypanosomicidal compounds. The obtained linear discriminant analysis-based quantitative structure–activity relationship models, using non-stochastic and stochastic indices, provide accuracies of 89.02% (85.11%) and 89.60% (88.30%) of the chemicals in the training (test) sets, respectively. Later, both models were applied to the virtual screening of 18 in-house synthesized compounds to find new pro-lead antitrypanosomal agents.
