We consider the dynamical (time-dependent) Casimir-Polder force between an atom and a perfectly conducting wall, as well as the dynamical Casimir-Polder force between two atoms in the presence of a boundary condition such as a conducting wall. The dynamical Casimir-Polder forces are obtained from iterative solutions of the Heisenberg equations for the time evolution of the electric and magnetic field operators around one atom in the presence of the conducting wall and related field energy densities, which are valid for any initial state. Lingvistiskā iztēle un identitāte: korsikāņu un skotu preses salīdzinošā analīze

Šī maģistra darba tēma ir lingvistiskā iztēle, kas ir personiskais viedoklis par runas un izteiksmes veidu. Lingvistisko iztēli ietekmē valsts valodas norma. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noteikt korsikāņu un skotu lingvistisko iztēli. Teorētiskie avoti aptver valodas konceptu, valodas normas un lingvistiskās iztēles tipoloģiju, kā arī identitātes jautājumu. Praktiskā daļa ietver metodoloģiju un leksisko lauku analīzes rezultātus britu, skotu, franču un korsikāņu periodiskajos izdevumos. Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka skotu identitāte ir maz saistīta ar valodu, kamēr korsikāņi valodai piešķir spēcīgu simbolisku statusu.

Viestejä kirjoittaessa olisi kuitenkin syytä pitää mielessä tervehdysten käyttämisen merkitys sähköpostiviestinnässä, varsinkin vierailla kielillä kirjoitettaessa. Tässä kandidaatintutkielmassa tutkittiin sitä, vastaako saksan kielen prepositioiden todellinen käyttö kieliopillisia normeja saarten nimien kohdalla ja mitkä tekijät mahdollisesti selittävät preposition valintaa. This critical sociolinguistic study explores how mining work is governed in the name of security in a mine in Arctic Finland. Although the mining industry is dominated by multinational corporations, mines themselves tend to be concentrated in peripheries where a mobile and multilingual workforce is recruited. Mining is a high-risk business: industrial accidents and environmental damage can be severe. Discursive practices play a crucial role in risk management. AbstractThis short paper seeks to reformulate and refine the notion of sociolinguistic scales as relative scope of understandability, thus drawing the notion fully into the realm of semiotics, rather than in the rather unproductive sphere of spatiotemporal and distributional interpretation where it has been deployed. Differences in scope of understandability are differences in the presupposability of signs, and such differences are not equivalent but stratified in a polycentric environment.
