The article deals with the graphic study of the project for the Kominern Palace designed in 1929 by Lidija Komarova, one of the students of the Russian Laboratories known by the acronym VChUTEMAS, founded in 1920 in Moscow. This article conducts a semantic search of The Digital Museum of the Romanian Novel: The 19th Century (MDRR), through which the authors attempt to identify the occurrences of several key concepts for class and labour imagery in the nineteenth-century Romanian novel, such as “muncă” [labour/work], “muncitor” [labourer/worker], “țăran” [peasant], “funcționar” [civil servant], alongside two main words that strikingly point out to a dissemblance of representation of work: “seceră” [sickle] and “pian” [piano]. The authors show that physical work is underrepresented in the Romanian novel between 1844 and 1900, and that novelists prefer to participate to the rise of the novel through representing …

Como nueva dinastía, la precaria situación de los primeros Tudor, Enrique VII y Enrique VIII, en el trono de Inglaterra, los llevó a buscar diferentes fórmulas de legitimación. En este proceso fue clave el intento de vinculación con los grandes reyes medievales ingleses a través de la pervivencia de los ideales caballerescos. El presente estudio se centra en el análisis de la plasmación de dichos principios en la producción visual con tintes propagandísticos derivada de las campañas francesas de Enrique VIII, en la que se advierte la pervivencia de la imagen del rey como caballero hasta su abandono a partir de 1540.
