Matematikk i yrkesutdanningen : En kasusstudie av sammenhengen mellom matematikkfaget og programfagene på yrkesutdanningen elektrofag
2013
Masteroppgave matematikkdidaktikk MA502 – Universitetet i Agder 2013 The teaching of mathematics in vocational education programs in Norway is required to make connections with each student's professional practice and daily life. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between mathematics and the program subjects in electrical vocational education. This is achieved through a description of the diverse teaching practices, leading to where the two subjects overlap. My main question is: What characterizes the relationship between mathematics 1T-Y and the program subjects in the electric vocational education? To address this question, I have formulated three research questions:…
Innovations and ecosystems : a characterization of Smart Tampere innovation ecosystem

It thereby compares innovation ecosystem to other concepts such as…
Service innovation methodologies I : what can we learn from service innovation and new service development research? : report no 1 from the TIPVIS-pr…
2007
This report presents a review of service innovation and service development literature. The main purpose of the review is to identify normative implications for service innovation methodologies. Three separate reviews are conducted and reported; an open search review based on specific search terms of relevance to service innovation methodologies, a review of articles in four of the most influential journals on service innovation/service development, and a review focusing contributions applying normative approaches and/or principles. Some of the main conclusions from the review support previous findings that the service innovation process is less formal and that it is more difficult to ident…

Estetiske Læringsprosesser i design og spilling av brettspill
2018
Masteroppgave kunstfag KF500 - Universitetet i Agder 2018 In this thesis I have studied how aesthetical learning processes can occur in thedesign process and in play of a natural science themed board game. I have done this by designing my own board game with a biological theme, and tested it with others in two occations. I found that aesthetic learning processes had occurred in both the design process and whenplaying the game. This gave me the basis for further discussion of how learning processes and aesthetic learning processes can occur in the game medium in general. In the design process, aesthetic learning processes can occur through position exploration and aesthetic choices in the cre…

Exotic crystal superstructures of colloidal crystals in confinement.
2008
Colloidal model systems have been used for over three decades for investigating liquids, crystals, and glasses. Colloidal crystal superstructures have been observed in binary systems of repulsive spheres as well as oppositely charged sphere systems showing structures well known from atomic solids. In this work we study the structural transition of colloidal crystals under confinement. In addition to the known sequence of crystalline structures, crystal superstructures with dodecagonal and hexagonal symmetry are observed in one component systems. These structures have no atomic counterpart.
Climate mitigation and intensified forest management in Norway: To what extent are surface waters safeguarded?
2020
AbstractWhile the role of forestry in mitigating climate change is increasingly subject to political commitment, other areas, such as water protection, may be at risk. In this study, we ask whether surface waters are sufficiently safeguarded in relation to the 2015 launch of a series of measures to intensify forest management for mitigation of climate change in Norway. First, we assess how impacts on water are accounted for in existing regulations for sustainable forestry. Secondly, we provide an overview of the impacts of forestry on water quality relevant to three support schemes: afforestation on new areas, increased stocking density in existing forests, and forest fertilisation. Lastly,…
P-recovery in a pilot-scale struvite crystallisation reactor for source separated urine systems using seawater and magnesium chloride as magnesium so…
2019
[EN] Practical recovery of a non-renewable nutrient, such as phosphorus (P), is essential to support modern agriculture in the near future. The high P content of urine, makes it an attractive source for practicing the recovery of this crucial nutrient. This paper presents the experimental results at pilot-plant scale of struvite crystallisation from a source-separated urine stream using two different magnesium sources, namely magnesium chloride and seawater. The latter was chosen as sustainable option to perform P-recovery in coastal areas. Real seawater was used to assess in a more realistic way its efficiency to precipitate P as struvite, since its composition (with noticeable concentrati…
