Background The displacement of a third molar is a rare occurrence, but it could lead to serious and/or life threatening complication. Aim of this review is to understand the most correlated causes of displacement and the possible solutions proposed in literature to avoid and solve this complication for maxillary and mandibular third molars at the appropriate time. Material and methods A search for "third molar displacement" was performed by using Pubmed database. Articles referred to soft tissues displacement, from 1957 to 2018, were included in the review. Background Myositis Ossificans is a rare heterotopic bone formation within a muscle being the masticatory muscles exceptionally involved. In most cases there is a previous trauma, bearing in mind that there may be many other etiologies. CT scan and panoramic radiographs along with histological findings are essential diagnostic aids. En aquest treball ens hem proposat analitzar alguns dels europeismes fràsics presents al Llibre de paraules e dits de savis e filòsofs (entre 1291 i 1295) de Jafudà Bonsenyor, metge jueu de Barcelona. Es tracta d’una obra escrita en llengua catalana, a partir de “llibres aràbics”, útil per a l’estudi de la transmissió sapiencial d’Orient a Occident, a través d’Al Àndalus i Catalunya.
