In this paper, we suggest a new research direction and a future vision for Self-Healing (SH) in Self-Organizing Networks (SONs). The problem we wish to solve is that traditional SH solutions may not be sufficient for the future needs of cellular network management because of their reactive nature, i.e., they start recovering after detecting already occurred faults instead of preparing for possible future faults in a pre-emptive manner. The detection delays are especially problematic with regard to the zero latency requirements of 5G networks. End-to-end link performance of an asymmetric and asynchronous dual-hop decode-and-forward (DF) relay system built up using a causal multirate filter bank multicarrier (FBMC) technique operated under Rayleigh fading is presented. Sir Thomas More's Utopia : An overlooked economic classic

Sir Thomas More's Utopia, published in 1516, is a classic work of how to organise a society based on common property. With a unique mix of common property, institutions and sound economic insights, we argue that More built a framework for a society that could be viable in the long run. While the conditions that make Utopia work are quite restrictive, it does provide a sketch of a society where common property may not stifle long‐term development, but is associated with productive workers and people content with their lives.

This study explores the nature of reciprocal commitment in academic careers. The article is based on a survey conducted in autumn 2013 among fixed-term employees at eight major universities in Finland (N = 810). The analysis is focusing on researchers who have a doctoral degree and who are working on a fixed-term contract at their university (n = 308). According to our study, researchers experience their working conditions are insecure and many of them have considered leaving their universities.
