Ramon Llull és autor d’un extens i excepcional corpus de proverbis, distribuït en cinc reculls que va escriure principalment entre 1295 i 1302. En aquest article, després de contextualitzar les col·leccions en el marc de la trajectòria intel·lectual de Llull, de presentar els seus trets més remarcables i de repassar breument alguns aspectes de la teoria paremiològica sobre els marcadors proverbials, s’analitza l’ús d’un conjunt de procediments retòrics en la formulació dels enunciats, en especial la personificació i el paral·lelisme, el qual es posa en relació amb les funcions i les aplicacions pràctiques que Llull mateix preveu per als seus proverbis.

In this article, the research topic is to develop an evaluation model for social work with substance abusers. It is studied by presenting an example of how the evaluation process could be carried out in practice. The study has been implemented with the Department of Social Services and Health Care’s Centre for Recovering Substance Abusers in Finland (RSA Centre). The term “evaluation model” refers to a way of collecting client follow-up information and the way the information is used to develop social work practices. The human ability to implement a sustained attention task is supported by brain networks that dynamically formed and dissolved through oscillatory synchronization. The decrement of vigilance induced by prolonged task engagement affects sustained attention. However, little is known about which stage or combinations are affected by vigilance decrement. For several decades now, psychoanalytically oriented writers on art have used the concept of the oceanic feeling to designate feelings of oneness, limitlessness, and mania in artistic creativity and aesthetic experiencing. In this article, I examine critically the most influential account of the oceanic feeling in aesthetics, provided by art pedagogue and art critic Anton Ehrenzweig. Following his points of emphasis, I elaborate on the structural, perceptual, and affective aspects of oceanic states of mind. Visual methods are reported to have certain advantages when conducting interviews on sensitive topics, such as intimate spaces, home-related ethical issues, and vulnerable families. In this article, we concentrate on two visual methods: social network maps and life-lines. In our research project on children’s well-being and emotional security in multiple family relations, we collected data by interviewing children and asking them to complete social network maps and life-lines.
