The Y(3940), Z(3930) and the X(4160) as dynamically generated resonances from the vector-vector interaction

We study the vector-vector interaction within the framework of the hidden gauge formalism for the sector with quantum numbers charm C=0 and strangeness S=0 in the region around 4000 MeV. We get five poles, three of which could be identified with the Y(3940), Z(3930) and X(4160). These poles appear with quantum numbers I=0 and $J^{PC}=0^{++},2^{++}$ and $2^{++}$, respectively, and can be considered as hadronic molecules made of $D^*\bar{D}^*$, $D_s^*\bar{D}^*_s$.

Measurement of vertical bar V-cs vertical bar using W decays at LEP2

Decays of W± bosons, produced at LEP2, have been used to measure the |Vcs| element of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix. Values for |Vcs| were extracted both from the measured hadronic branching ratio of W± decays and by tagging the flavour of hadronic jets produced in W± decays. Applying the two methods to the data collected during 1996 at energies of 161 and 172 GeV, DELPHI obtains |Vcs|=0.91+0.15−0.14(stat)±0.05(syst).

Since building materials are now required to be characterized by high energy and environmental performances, marble is entailed to fulfill top-level requirements. A circularly polarized wideband high gain patch antenna for wireless power transfer

2018

This article deals with a microstrip patch antenna working at 868 MHz, suitable for the radio frequency wireless power transfer and energy harvesting applications. The proposed monolithic antenna is compact, lightweight and it is printed on a thick substrate in order to maximize the total gain in the broadside direction. The antenna radiates at 868 MHz with a fractional impedance bandwidth of 5% and it shows a gain of 4.14 dB.

Abstract Spanish universities have recently adapted their studies to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). This process has involved the consideration of the development of computer and informational skills as an academic objective. In order to develop these skills, among other activities, an informative video has been disseminated. The design of the communication campaign, developed through viral marketing and social networks has been the result of and empirical research carried out by students of the University of Valencia. This paper describes the research objectives, questions, techniques and main findings.

Job Satisfaction Determinants of Tertiary Graduates in Europe

Abstract Factors affecting the job satisfaction of tertiary graduates are studied using recent data on 13 European countries from 2010–11. Special attention is given to differences between bachelors and masters. It is found that in many countries, master's degree decreases job satisfaction. Moreover, it never increases the job satisfaction of female employees. Masters are more sensitive than bachelors to career opportunities, variety in work and whether learning is required in the job; while bachelors are more sensitive to the risk of moving to a less interesting job and monetary compensation. Improving point matching on multimodal images using distance and orientation automatic filtering

International audience; Speed Up Robust Features SURF is one of the most popular and efficient methods used for image registration task. In order to achieve a correct registration, a good matching of feature point is required. However in the case of multimodal images, the high and non-linear intensity changes between different modalities led to many outliers (mismatching of detected points) and consequently a fail in the registration. Physical activity (PA) during childhood plays an important role in brain development. This role is played in both the structural domain, prefrontal cortex area, and in the functional domain, involving the higher cognitive functions, including the executive functions (EF).
