The aim of this study was to investigate the role of attachment dimensions in framing worldviews and socio-political attitudes. A study on 178 Italian university students in Palermo was conducted. A causal model is tested where social conformity, toughmindedness, and insecure attachment dimensions were considered antecedents, and right-wing authoritarianism and social dominance orientation were the dependent variables. The structural equation modeling showed a good fit. The model evidenced the mediation role of worldviews in the relation between social conformity, toughmindedness, attachments, and socio-political attitudes. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wybranych filozoficznych koncepcji światopoglądu religijnego jako źródeł inspiracji, jak również obiecujących rozwiązań konkretnych problemów współczesnych teorii religii. Dokonane w artykule zestawienie filozoficznych koncepcji światopoglądu religijnego takich myślicieli jak: Bergsona, Schelera, czy Diltheya z wybranymi współczesnymi teoriami religii z zakresu psychologii ewolucyjnej przemawia za potrzebą udziału filozofii w trwających interdyscyplinarnych badaniach nad fenomenem religii.
Worldviews and National Values in Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish Early Childhood Education and Care Curricula

This paper examines how worldviews and national values are displayed in the national (Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) curricula of Sweden, Finland and Norway. The specific interest is to investigate what similarities and differences there are between these three ECEC curricula with regard to the position of religions and other worldviews. ECEC is often the first societal arena for children to enter and to negotiate their personal values, worldviews, and memberships in relation to the values represented in the surrounding social context.
