The paper studies the mechanisms that govern the interactions between the entrepreneur (novice or expert) and the specific investors of emerging firms (business angels (BAs) and venture-capital firms (VCs)). Combining both literatures on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial finance, our aim is to understand if the rationalities of these three actors help them or not to interact, and, to study how they influence each other during the firm's growth. Dans ce poster, nous présentons le modèle gravitaire sous différents modèles en mettant en évidence les effets de distance et les occasions interposées. Le modèle généralisé de Newton est utilisé et donne des estimations relativement correctes des flux intercommunaux en région PACA.

It is generally assumed that different electroencephalogram (EEG) frequency bands are somehow related to different computational modes in the brain. Integration of these computational modes is reflected in the phenomenon of cross-frequency coupling (CFC). On slow temporal scales, CFC may reflect trait-like properties, which posits a question of its developmental trends. Growth curves of sorghum roots via quantile regression with P-splines

Plant roots are a major pool of total carbon in the planet and their dynamics are directly relevant to greenhouse gas balance. Composted wastes are increasingly used in agriculture for environmental and economic reasons and their role as a substitute for traditional fertilizers needs to be tested on all plant components. Here we propose a regression quantile approach based on P-splines to assess, quantify and compare the root growth patterns in two treatment groups respectively undergoing compost and traditional fertilization.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relation of growth and the financial ratios of a company. The theoretical portion of the study focuses on the concept of growth in entrepreneurship theory. The empirical portion consists of examination of the financial ratios of 162 Finnish software companies in 2008-2011 by means of quantitative analysis methods. Statistical analysis methods, including analysis of variance, correlation and regression analysis, are used in the analysis. Sauna bath brings about numerous acute changes in hormone levels, partly akin to other stressful situations, partly specific for sauna. Norepinephrine increases in those accustomed to sauna bath. Sweating increases the production of antidiuretic hormone, and the renin-angiotensin system becomes activated. Of the anterior pituitary hormones, growth hormone (GH) and prolactin (PRL) secretion is increased. Also β-endorphin has been frequently reported to increase, whereas the responses of ACTH and cortisol are variable, probably depending on the type of sauna exposure.
