Thomas Hobbesia (1588-1679) pidetään usein yhtenä ”kapitalismin isistä”. Näkökulma on kuitenkin sinänsä ongelmallinen, että Hobbes ei juurikaan kirjoittanut pääomista tai tuotannosta. The unsettling, humiliating, and often threatening experience of feeling oneself ‘invisible’ before the gazes of other people in one’s social world has obvious potential as a theme for collaborative efforts between social theorists and phenomenologists. This chapter proposes one way of approaching such an engagement, drawing in particular upon three authors who offer detailed analyses of social visibility and its potential pathologies: Axel Honneth, Frantz Fanon, and Edmund Husserl. This paper investigates information influence in society’s Information Environment. The Grounded Theory approach was used to collect and to analyse the data. A conceptual framework of the thematic categories and item categories was developed on the basis of empirical evidence and past studies that reflect the findings of the field. Robot acceptance model for care (RAM-care) : A principled approach to the intention to use care robots

Robots are emerging in welfare services, and organizations require information on whether novel technologies are approved among staff. On the basis of technology acceptance theories, this study proposes a model that adds a principled approach to the intention to use care robots. Data of 544 professionals with care robot experience were collected. The use intention was predicted by usefulness, enjoyment, social influence, and attitude. Respondents who found robots useful and accepted by their colleagues were more likely to view robot use as consistent with their personal values. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli lisätä ymmärrystä integroidusta raportoinnista ja syventää ymmärrystä arvonluonnin käsitteestä. Työn teoreettinen viitekehys rakentui vuosikertomuksiin, yhteiskuntavastuuseen ja integroituun raportointiin liittyvästä tutkimuskirjallisuudesta. Työn aineistona käytettiin seitsemän pohjoismaisen rakennus- ja infrastruktuurialan integroitua raporttia vuosilta 2012–2013. Työn metodologisena otteena käytettiin kolmeen tasoon jaettua kriittistä diskurssianalyysiä, jossa analyysi alkaa tekstuaaliselta tasolta ja siirtyy tulkinnallisen analyysin jälkeen kriittisen analyysin tasolle.
