Assessment of yield and water productivity of clementine trees under surface and subsurface drip irrigation
2018
Abstract Irrigation systems aimed to optimize water use efficiency in agriculture have become essential due to the increasing water limitations that agriculture is currently facing. Assessment of crop responses to different irrigation systems and strategies are therefore encouraged to find the most efficient options for each specific case. The main objective of this study was to assess the performance of a citrus crop under a surface (SI) and subsurface drip irrigation (SSI) with 7 (SI7, SSI7) or 14 emitters (SI14, SSI14) per plant, as well as a third SS treatment (SSIA), identical to SSI7 but equipped with and additional drip line buried between the tree rows. Evaluations were made in term…
Effects of Saline and Deficit Irrigation on Soil-Plant Water Status and Potato Crop Yield under the Semiarid Climate of Tunisia
2019
Water supplies have been decreasing in several semi-arid regions, and it is therefore necessary to adopt irrigation strategies aimed at maximizing water use efficiency. In this paper, the effects of saline and deficit irrigation on water use efficiency and on potato crop response, based on observations of soil and plant water status, were investigated. Experiments were carried out in Central Tunisia, by monitoring potato crop growth during two seasons in four distinct treatments (T1&ndash
"Table 1" of "J/psi suppression at forward rapidity in Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN)=200 GeV"
2021
J/psi invariant yield in Au+Au collisions as a function of $N_{part}$ at forward rapidity ($p_{T}$ integrated). The statistical and systematic uncertainties vary point-to-point and are listed for each measured value. An additional global systematic uncertainty is provided in each column heading, which applies to all data points per column.

J/psi invariant yield in Au+Au collisions as a function of transverse momentum for the 0-20% centrality class at forward rapidity. The statistical and systematic uncertainties vary point-to-point and are listed for each measured value. An additional global systematic uncertainty is provided in each column heading, which applies to all data points per column.
"Table 4" of "J/psi suppression at forward rapidity in Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN)=200 GeV"
2021
J/psi invariant yield in Au+Au collisions as a function of transverse momentum for the 20-40, 40-60 and 60-92% centrality classes at forward rapidity. The statistical and systematic uncertainties vary point-to-point and are listed for each measured value. An additional global systematic uncertainty is provided in each column heading, which applies to all data points per column.
A method for rapid generation of competitive standard molecules for RT-PCR avoiding the problem of competitor/probe cross-reactions.
1995
The analysis of gene expression is a widespread issue in a growing number of fields such as molecular genetics, immunology, and medical diagnostics. The ideal method for mRNA detection should be fast, inexpensive, sensitive, and reliable. Well-elaborated standard methods such as Northern hybridization, Sl-mapping, and RNAse protection are useful and recommended, but only reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) gives the highest possible sensitivity required. For many issues it is necessary not only to detect a distinct mRNA but to compare changes in mRNA levels. The use of RT-PCR for such semiquantitative and quantitative approaches resolves problems attributable to the intrinsic property of PCR…
Fluorinated Heterocyclic Compounds. An Effective Strategy for the Synthesis of Fluorinated Z-Oximes of 3-Perfluoroalkyl-6-phenyl-2H-1,2,4-triazin- 5-…
2005
The reaction of 3-benzoyl-5-perfluoroalkyl-1,2,4-oxadiazoles with hydrazine has been investigated, evidencing the possibility of competitive reaction paths. Nucleophilic addition of the hydrazine to the electrophilic C(5) of the 1,2,4-oxadiazole ring, followed by ring opening and ring closure with enlargement, leads with high yield and in very mild experimental conditions to the formation of Z-oximes of 3-perfluoroalkyl-6-phenyl-2H-1,2,4-triazin-5-ones (11a-c) as major products of the reaction. In turn, the hydrazine can attack the electrophilic carbonyl carbon giving 4-perfluoroacylamino-5-phenyl-2H-1,2,3-triazoles (13a-c) through the well-known Boulton-Katritzky rearrangement of the inter…
