The aim of this thesis was to evaluate Morocco’s privatization policy based on the opinions of final-year high-school students (n = 103) that were studying in either public or private schools. This was examined using a cross-sectional study design in which a structured, Likert scale questionnaire was administered at a night school in Casablanca, Morocco, where highschool students can take extra classes in preparation for their final year exam. The results were analyzed quantitatively by comparing the group means with an independent samples ttest, using an alpha level of 0.05. With the extensive long-term care services for older people, the Nordic countries have been labelled ‘caring states’ as reported (Leira, Welfare state and working mothers: the Scandinavian experience, Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 1992). Abstract The increasing presence of for-profit service providers in publicly-funded eldercare has transformed care in Nordic welfare states which have a strong tradition of public care provision. Macro-level research on care policies has mainly focused on public institutions, national policies, and marketization. Tässä pro gradu- tutkielmassa keskityin tarkastelemaan sosiaalipalveluyrittäjyyttä reviewtutkimuksen keinoin. Päätavoitteeni oli kartoittaa sosiaalipalveluyrittäjyydestä tähän mennessä tehtyä kotimaista ja ulkomaista tutkimusta. Hyödynsin työssä kuitenkin myös muuta aineistoa kuin tutkimuksia.
