Narratives and Counter-Narratives about Radicalization: Experiences of Moderation of an Online Communication Campaign

This paper presents the results of a cyber-ethnographic study. The research analyzes the dynamics that make, calm and increase the radicalization narratives. This study is part of the Oltre project (ISF - DG Migration and Home Affairs, EU) which directly involved 42 Italian and second generation youths in the dissemination and moderation of an online communication campaign in order to prevent radicalized behaviors. This paper illustrates how the young “moderators” interacted each other, highlighting how counter-narratives can represent useful tools for deconstructing "complex" issues such as radicalization. However youths experience also other temporalities, that are context related, and that take place in a given country at the beginning of their working careers. In general youths entering the labour market are overexposed to economic fluctuations (Fondeur and Minni, 2004). The article contains an analysis of results of the available research on the phenomenon of children’s violence toward their parents. The main purpose of this interpretation is to search for the theoretical structure of a prepared research tool, initially called the Teen Violence Scale Toward Parents (TVSTP). The subject of the analyzes were works and research reports as well as police statistics containing information on the phenomenon of domestic violence, including teenage violence toward parents. The socio-cultural changes, which take place in a contemporary world, influence on intergenerational transfer of norms, views and creation of young generation's cultural Capital. The authońs empirical materiał, collected throughout the last 20 years, depicts chosen elements of objective socialization which, being present in a few interviewed groups of youth, specify the inner-family transfer of norms and values. The heterogeneousness of the researched groups indicates the complicated character of the described phenomenon.

The evaluation of soccer players’ physical fitness from youth onward is important for monitoring performance and planning training. While health-related factors present valid and reliable tests, the skill-related component should be studied in depth. An interesting test to evaluate the skill-related factors is the Harre circuit test (HTC); unfortunately, this test includes the somersault, an element not present in soccer.
