The aim of this study was to detect underlying mechanical thresholds in an experimental model of DOMS. Within the patrimonialization of video gaming, the status of memory representations is still unknown. On YouTube, amateur video makers present games from the 1970s through to the 1990s, combining voice and screencast. By reviewing these low audience channels and interviewing their creators, we have tried to understand the current trends in amateur videos. The ensuing results highlight the diversity of the relationship to memory. From being ignored to engaging in dialogue : Young boys' narratives of children's participation in child–parent conflicts

This paper examines children's opportunities to participate in everyday child–parent conflicts as revealed in young boys' fictional narratives. The data were collected from 19 boys aged 3–6 years using the Story Magician's Play Time method. Narrative analysis yielded four story types: ignored participation stories, parent-directed participation stories, child-directed participation stories and dialogical participation stories. The study illustrates that when considering children's participation in child–parent conflicts, differences between children in their opportunities to participate in resolving conflicts should be taken into account. Objectives To examine how gender functions in the narrative construction of dual career styles, and how these styles impact the (dis)continuation of a dual career pathway. Design Longitudinal qualitative study. Method Life story interviews with 18 talented Finnish athletes (10 cis women, 8 cis men) at four points in time – when they averaged 16, 17, 19, and 20 years of age – followed by an integrative narrative-discursive analysis.
