This doctoral thesis seeks to deepen the understanding of the factors that contribute to a firm’s growth from the perspective of the entrepreneur’s personality. The empirical data for this study was gathered through survey questionnaires distributed to members of entrepreneur organizations in Central Finland, Southern Ostrobothnia and Savonia (n=120, females 37%, males 63%, average age 50 years). The respondents were primarily founders of their own firms and approximately half worked in the service sector. Tämä maaseutuyritysten rahoitusneuvonnan palveluiden laadun arviointi pe- rustuu Keski-Suomen elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskuksen (ELY) toi- meksiantoon. Arviointi on kohdennettu Manner-Suomen kehittämisohjelmasta vuosina 2007–2013 rahoitusta saaneisiin yritysasiakkaisiin. Arvioinnin näkökulmana on yritysasiakkaan kokema laatu. Arvioinnissa on olennaista se mihin maaseutuyritysten rahoitusneuvonnan palveluiden laadun kehittämisellä pyritään. After virtually 50 years of expropriation and state ownership, a large number of Czech traditional family businesses were returned to their original owners.
