Dark-Line Atomic Resonances in Micrometric Rb-Vapor Layer
2007
We present measurements of dark-line resonances excited in Rb atomic vapor confined in micrometric cells (MC). In our work, the Lambda-systems on D2 line of 85Rb have been studied with the use of bi-chromatic radiation of two separate narrowband diode lasers.
RF Acquisition System Based on μTCA for Testing of High-Gradient Acceleration Cavities
2022
The radio frequency (RF) laboratory hosted in the Corpuscular Physics Institute (IFIC) of the University of Valencia is designed to house a high-power and high-repetition-rate facility to test normal conduction RF accelerator cavities in the S-Band (2.9985 GHz) in order to perform R&D activities related to particle accelerator cavities. The system, which manages the entire process of RF signal generation, data acquisition and closed-loop control of the laboratory, is currently based on a modular and compact PXI platform system. This contribution details the development of a platform with similar features, but which is based on open architecture standards at both the hardware and softwar…
Electromanetically Induced Resonances in Sub-Micron Thin Rb-Vapor Layer

Dark-line Atomic Resonances in 1-100 µm-thin cells
2007
International audience; Recently developed micrometric thin cells (MTC) containing atomic vapor of micrometric column thickness allow one to study peculiarities of Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) phenomenon, along with the accompanying velocity selective optical pumping/saturation (VSOP) resonances. MTC are filled with pure Rb and neither buffer gas nor paraffin-coated walls were used. the Lambda-system on D2 lines of 85RB have been studied with the use of two separate diode lasers. There are several dramatic distinctions in formation of EIT and VSOP resonances in MTC as compared with conventional cm-size cells. Particularly, in the case of MTC the narrowest EIT resonance is …
