Se aportan datos corológicos de catorce plantas vasculares presentes en la provincia de Ávila (España). De ellas, cinco son primeras citas provinciales: Chamaesyce prostrata (Aiton) Small, Conyza sumatrensis (Retz.) E. Walker, Helianthus tuberosus L., Melia azedarach L. y Panicum miliaceum L. El resto de plantas vasculares no son muy conocidas en la zona. In this essay we address one of the most important poetic subgenres in the tradition of Carmelite women: the works composed for ceremonies of vestition and solemn profession in which the nuns left behind his mundane life and opened a new life as the wife of Jesus. First of all, we provide a general overview of the customs and functions of the poetry in the Discalced Carmelites, which has been already analysed in the context of the Hispanic literature, but rarely from the perspective of the Catalan area. El convento de carmelitas descalzos de Uclés (Cuenca) ha pasado hasta ahora prácticamente inadvertido por la historiografía artística. El estado ruinoso que presenta desde el siglo XIX y la falta de documentación sobre el mismo ha impedido un análisis en profundidad sobre este interesante ejemplo conventual, cuyas obras se llevaron a cabo durante la llamada etapa de homogenización de los modos arquitectónicos carmelitanos. L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és examinar les composicions poètiques aportades per dones als tres certàmens celebrats a València i Barcelona, amb motiu de la beatificació (1614) i posterior canonització (1622) de Teresa de Jesús; dos moments clau per a la consolidació de la fama de la carmelitana avilesa que van possibilitar l’exhibició pública i impressió de poesia femenina. ABSTRACT: The society of the ancient regime recreated the distinctive, justifying, and propagandistic rites of power that were performed at court in cities far away from it. These rites were led by the holders of civil and religious power, and even utilized formulas that would not have been permitted, because they copied the royal ones. The rituals surrounding death form part of these practices, with first-class artistic derivations, including ephemeral architecture, emblematics and chalcography, or intaglio.
