Fit ForThem Digital Platform

FIT FORTHEM is a Horizon 2020 project aimed at making FORTHEM Alliance a unique and united entity – a European University – not only with a strong higher education strategy, as developed within the Erasmus+ project, but also with a comprehensive research and innovation strategy and tight links to socio-economic environment.

This digital platform has a twofold purpose:

  • supporting the connection and interoperability of partner universities' R&I data repositories and connect a variety of digital content
  • facilitating the matchmaking between the R&I supply of universities (solvers) and the innovation demand of society and business systems (seekers)

    • Three sets of information are identified as essential to be shared through the DP:

  • Institutional repositories which contains the institutional research outputs
  • Research groups selected after their common interests and identified through ERC sectors
  • Cultural heritage highlights consisting in museums, collections, sites, and digitised ancient books
