Método de medición del índice de Bolton digitalización de la arcada dentaria
Resumen El presente trabajo consiste en la puesta a punto de un metodo de medida que a traves de una imagen digitalizada de la arcada dentaria y el correspondiente programa informatico desarrollado por no sotros, permite de una forma rapida, sencilla y exacta, la medicion de los tamanos mesiodistales de los dientes, asi como el posterior calculo del indice de Bolton. Este procedimiento, al que denominamos metodo digital, resulta igualmente sensible y mas rapido de realizar que el metodo de medicion tradicional.
Estudio epidemiológico sobre fracturas supracondíleas de húmero distal en pacientes pediátricos
Resumen Objetivo La finalidad de este trabajo es estudiar la epidemiologia de los pacientes con fracturas supracondileas de humero distal en edad pediatrica atendidos en un hospital terciario. Effects of graduated compression stockings on skin temperature after running.
High skin temperatures reduce the thermal gradient between the core and the skin and they can lead to a reduction in performance and increased risk of injury. Graduated compression stockings have become popular among runners in the last years and their use may influence the athlete's thermoregulation. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of graduated compression stockings on skin temperature during running in a moderate indoor environment. Epidemiological study on supracondylar fractures of distal humerus in pediatric patients
Abstract Objective The purpose of this work is to study the epidemiology of patients with distal humerus supracondylar fractures in pediatric age treated in a tertiary hospital. Method A descriptive study was conducted on the epidemiological characteristics of distal humerus supracondylar fractures in pediatric patients treated in a tertiary hospital from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2018.
