Analyzing E-Commerce Websites: A Quali-Quantitive Approach for the User Perceived Web Quality (UPWQ)

<p>The electronic commerce (e-commerce) is an increasingly important phenomenon and this research deals with perceived quality from the users-customers point of view. The aim of this paper is to shed light on the critical factors determining the User Perceived Web Quality (UPWQ) for e-commerce.</p><p>We use the Pareto Chart as qualitative methodology able to identify the UPWQ considering not only technical features (ease of use, design, smart phone and tablet responsivity, information), but also emotional features such as trust, empathy, free shipping and discount. Public administration efficiency is an up to date topic. More in depth, the crucial point is how it is related, on the one hand, with a disruptive phenomenon like corruption and, on the other hand, with ethics. This study aims to show how public sector performance is affected by ethics and corruption. In order to explain such a relationship, this research run a cross-country analysis, where indices of public-sector performance are juxtaposed with corruption levels.

Taking care of everyone’s business: interpreting Sicilian Mafia embedment through spatial network analysis

Mafia-type organisations often have a strong geographical and cultural entrenchment in the territory they belong. However, their analysis as a spatially networked social structure is still missing. A combined socio-spatial network analysis is presented here, through the demise of a large police operation called Operazione Perseo in 2008. This approach is developed in two ways.
